The turtles will not give you overage as far as my experience goes. With 10 coupons, you can get 16 boxes and pay 0.94 cents.

I've seen it mentioned here a million times, but this weekend I actually saw the proof...

My wags will never allow overage... because of the coupon order!

In the past, I've always handed over the whole pile of coupons at once. Apparently, they've been trained to take the wags coupons first, then the MQs, then the RRs.

Even tho I knew I should hand them over in my OWN order, I'd never done that... till this weekend!

For the first time, I got 4 boxes of foil, and was able to use 4 coupons, resulting in overage and NO BEEPS lol

This only worked this time because I had a newer cashier, who obviously hasn't been told about coupon order lol But my point is, order really does matter! So if you can manage it, hand em over in your OWN order (MQs first) its worth a try!

The turtles are not a coupon item this week so the mfg coupon will "beep". The only way to avoid the "beep" is to buy more product $ amount then coupon $ amount. If your store will push them thru for you so you get the overage , if not.....just get more turtles

OK I refigured the Turtles scenario with the information from a poster a few pages ago that the 7 oz boxes ARE still on sale 3/$10.

For 28 oz of candy, you can either:

Buy (6) 3.5 oz boxes plus (1) 7 oz box, use (6) $1.50 coupons and pay .28 + tax;

OR

Buy (8) 3.5 oz boxes, use (5) $1.50 coupons and pay .42 + tax.

Either way, you're getting a fantastic deal. And really, if you're in a state that taxes food (like I am) then the tax amount in either scenario is probably going to make your total be about the same anyway. If you want to use the least number of coupons possible, go with the smaller boxes.

Today I bought:

15 boxes of turtles
20 postage stamps $8.40
coke $1.39
5 scotch tape

Paid $12.39

I told her about the price of the turtles and the $1.50/1 coupon, as I didn't want a hassle..and she used all 15 of the $1.50 coupons!
