Even if you don't get the overage, she should have marked down the coupon to the actual cost of the foil. I have a letter from Walgreens Corp that says they don't allow overage, and that the stores would reduce the amount of the coupon.
I went to WAGS this morning to get my free foil. I read in a earlier thread that you need them to ring up the items then use the manu coupon then the in store coupon..the gal there said she had to do hers 1st then the manu. So I wanted 4 boxes. It didnt let me use the last manu coupon because it exceeded the total...what did I do wrong?? I ended up spending $1.20 instead of just paying the tax.
Still a great deal, but I like FREE

Please note the wording on the Reynolds insert coupon. It says "One (1) coupon per purchase/household"
We moderators are not going to assume what Reynolds coupons you are using as there are several out there, however posting about using multiple insert coupons is a no no as per the wording on the coupons.

The easiest way to do this is to just get an extra Reynold's Wrap. If you are using 4 qs, get 5. That way, there is enough Reynold's to cover all the qs and the register won't beep on the last one. Not completely free this way, but the register won't beep at the last Q. HTH.
Mod for WalgreensLife is not about waiting for the storms to pass....it's about learning how to dance in the rain.
I wish I could get a letter like that... when I email wags they keep telling me over and over to "call cust service" and will not send me anything in writing. After a couple exchanges with them asking PLEASE send me something in writing, the store won't accept a 'verbal' customer service quote, they stop responding to me.
My wags won't reduce the coupon amount, I've asked them if they will and they refuse... if I buy 4 foils, I can only use 3 coupons because of the penny overage... fillers don't make any difference. I almost feel guilty complaining about this.. after all, .96 for 4 foils isn't bad lol but its the point that all wags stores should be consistant, darn it!
This happened with the chex mix deal from a few weeks back too and my store won't budge on this. Ugh!
I always hand my man. Qs first THEN pull the wags Qs out of my cart/purse and present them. Cashiers usually know they should use the wags Qs first but don't want to go to the trouble of voiding everything and will just scan it. And always make sure you have something to cover the overage.
I want to wait until Wed. and buy these with the next Holiday $5RR. Do you think there will still be some left, lol? Anyone know the price they are ringing up before the Q? It could be a great way to get the price up to the $25.
anyone having trouble with the "except 25 sq ft" wording on this coupon? I haven't gone yet but I am a little nervous.
I know - the sale is on the 20 sq ft.... but it seems strange to me that it would exclude 25 sq ft but allow 20 sq ft?
sigh, paranoid I guess.... LOL
The Wags coupon says "Limit 2" anyone had any trouble with this? Is the price good on more than 2 boxes? Sounds like people so far haven't had any trouble. Thanks!
