I did my last scenario of the 5/25 on the 6th - it ended up totaling 24.28 after all q's discounts, etc. My RR did not print. The Mgr was awesome and refunded everything and let me add in a filler to get the RR. I'm not sure how others are getting the RR before Q's but just be aware this could be a reason you don't receive one.

So I didn't get any shopping done last week and am not sure how this is working. Is this sale in ALL areas or just regional? I didn't get a flyer in my paper yesterday, so just wondering if I should waste my time working up scenarios or if the 3 day flyer will just be in stores during that 3 days. TIA

I believe the flyer will be in the stores during the three days. I didn't get the three-day flyer in my paper last week either, but it was in the stores after I read about it here.

I can say, personally, that it worked for me after man. Qs and RRs. I spent 10.99 on my GC and still got back the $5 holiday RR. I cannot personally verify that it works after WAGs Qs, but I have seen others say that it works for them. HTH

I didn't get the three-day flyer in my paper last week either, but it was in the stores after I read about it here.

I never got one with the regular flyer, and I never actually saw a flyer in store either except a ripped up, cut apart one left on the beauty counter. They did have signs up about the holiday RR, but I really feel like they were trying to hide the flyers...some of the best deals that I read about were not marked in store.

In Houston, I talked with the regional district manager. He was furious that the ad didn't make it into the newspaper on Wednesday and said the paper owed Walgreens some money for that fiasco. Only 1 of my stores even had the ad on Thursday. District manager also said to print the coupons for the ad off the Walgreens website, which I did until I found the ad.

I didn't find the ad until Saturday but I printed off the WAG Q from their website on Wed. when other people were reporting that they could not find them in the stores.

I really hope it works the same way. I did the deals a number of times at different stores. The total before Q were above $25.00 and after they were under $10.00 then I was able to roll the $5.00 HRR which made this a great weekend for me.

I didn't notice. I always wonder if I leave too soon, and maybe it will start spitting out all kinds of stuff after I walk out the door. But the thing is, the way the socks read on the receipt is

1@1/4.99-2/4.99 .00 sale

so I think it didn't count the free socks towards the $25.00.

Or like I said, maybe the machine spit them out after I left, or maybe there was something wrong with the machine. Don't know. I just think I'd be cautious trying a BOGO again this week.

BOGOS will count both towards the $25 if they are BOGO with an in ad coupon or if they are BOGO on items of different possible values. On your socks it only counted the $4.99 because that is all that rang up. The other rang as $0.00.

An example of a BOGO that would count both items towards the $25 is the candy canes. They are BOGO on an ad coupon (pg 6). They will both ring up as .39 then the coupon will take .39 off. It will look like this on your receipt-

.39 Candy Cane
.39 Candy Cane
-.39 Candy Cane coupon

Both would count towards the $25.

The Maybelline will also work because it says "of equal or lesser value" on it. You might be buying a 5.99 item and a 4.99 item and the computer does not know that until all items are rung so it will then take the 4.99 off at the bottom. If you bought 2 4.99 items, it would still do the same as it would not know until the end what the 2 amounts are going to be. It will look like this on your receipt-

4.99 Maybelline
4.99 Maybelline
-4.99 BGLP (Buy one Get Lower Price free)

Both would count towards the $25.

If I buy the yes carrots stuff for 2 9.99 and the pedi for 9.99 and use a buy one get free on the yes, and use 5.00 rr will I get another 5.00rr?

I never saw anyone respond to this so I will try. I'm not sure about the Yes to Carrots items you are buying. Is the 9.99 price after the 25% off or before? I will assume before so it would ring up like this-
