Free tape at Walgreens with coupon from Winter Saving book

Is the tape actually ringing up 2/$1 or is it ringing up 2/$0.99?? WAGs doesn't allow overage w/mfr coupons. So, even if there was one penny overage the coupon will beep. They possibly could have been the problem.

The Walgreens coupon says 2/$1 & the manufacturers coupons says $1.00 off 2. I have been doing 2 per transaction and have had no problem.

So do I just ask when I go in? Today I was checking out and the woman said she couldn't take the q's... and even called the manager to confirm... <sigh> I'll keep looking for a store that will take them!

I don't ask when I go in. I don't ask to use any other manufacturer coupon, why should I ask to use this one.

I'd just give them to the cashier and see if the cashier takes them. The coupons don't beep, so you shouldn't have any issues at all.
