Walgreens - Organizing Q for the next few weeks

I really like how the Wags sales add comes out a few weeks in advance so we can prepare. However, one thing I noticed is that I was taking the wrong Q's to the store to use because the sale would be the following week. :shrug7: Therefore, I started creating envelopes with the date on them. The date is the day the sale begins. This way as I see something on sale I place the Q's for that item in the envelope. This has helped me stay organized.

How do you all handle this for Wags?

I know this should have been posted on the Getting Organized forum but I only wanted to reach out to my Wags friends.

i JUST started doing this last week..because like you I was going insane trying to remmeber what week was what q and what sale. I so far have my Nov 30 ready to go.. but still have to review it 100 times to be sure, and haven't moved to other weeks yet.. if only there was more time!

reps to you for the suggestion to others, it may seem obvious, but it took me awhile to figure it out!

I have a different excel tab on a spreadsheet for each week.
when I read a hot tip, I put it in the spreadsheet!
still not fool-proof though...

This is exactly what I do! Only once did I go to a different store and wish I had some q's that I had already put in an envelope and left at home...

I have a notebook that I use to write down my possible shopping list for each ad. Next to each item I put how many Q's I have for that item and the sale price. A few days out from each sale I will go over the ad and finalize my list and pull coupons for it. I try not to make it any harder than it had to be or any more stressful.

That's exactly what I do...I actually do the envelope thing for every store. I save envelopes from junk mail and reuse them to organize my lists and coupons every week, writing the deals on the outside of the envelope.

I write the the items I'm interested in and the corresponding coupons for each week on a separate half sheet of paper. Then I fold the paper in half and paper clip the coupons and ads for that week inside each sheet. At the end of the week if I have coupons I didnt use that week, I move them to the next week's packet. Works well for me!
