$5 Mir + $10- MIR greendot visa 11/08

I just got the easy saver bk today. I was looking through it a sec ago and I noticed there is a $5 rebate from wags in it when you buy a gc ( I think it says greendot)?
Floating around are MIR from lite , Save $10 wyb 20.00 gc

I think this could be a good deal.

i think that is the activation fee for the card.

Those green dot cards are junk. The wags rebate will only pay for the activation fee, so you are not ahead any money. Then they have various fees if you don't use the balance quickly enough.

The $10 on a $20 gift card rebate is a good one--I am assuming since it is from a beer company than it is good for any gift card at any store. If that is correct you would be far better off buying a store gift card for any store where you will be spending money anyway.

DON'T BUY GREEN DOT GIFT CARDS!!!!! I bought two to try out, thinking I would buy for the holidays and they were insanly difficult to use. More often than not, there was difficulty at checkout. The cashiers at various stores could not figure out how to process things through. Try contacting the company. You can NEVER speak to anyone, even though when you call it tells you "this call can be recorded". What a joke! I had to write a letter, for there is no e-mail contact either. I can't tell you how frustrating it is.....save yourself a headach and DON'T BOTHER!!!

i had a greendot card for a couple years. i didnt usually have problems with it except the fees are $4-$11 a month so if you dont use it a lot its not really worth it. this is more like a credit card for those who cant get one, or for those who only want to use it for certain things. i personally used it to pay bills and for ebay. that way i could put just enough money on it for whatever i needed, and not have to worry about it getting lost or stolen (im way better at losing things than i am at finding them). the customer service is a joke though, you call and get someone in india named "ted" or "joe" who you cant understand at all.
