How often do you buy items that you don't really need or use just because they are cheap or it is a good deal?

I find myself getting excited because I'm figuring out how to use coupons the right way, but I don't really need most of the stuf I get the coupons for!

I often get things we don't NEED, but do like and will use (especially food items) because they're at a good price and it's something my family will consider a treat. It's nice to be able to do that.

I personally don't get stuff we won't use even if it would generate overage, because I don't want to bother clipping coupons and looking for deals on items I don't want and then dealing with the stress of "what if it doesn't work?" (like if an RR doesn't print), and having to carry it home (no car), and having to figure out where to donate it to someone who will have a use for it. But I know a lot of people do this when they can get overage to pay for stuff they do need, or just because they like getting free stuff to donate to a good cause, and more power to them!

Two questions:
1--Does anyone happen to know the regular price of the Libby's Pumpkin?
2--If I buy the pumpkin...won't it show the regular price listed on the receipt and then later at the bottom show the discount from the WAGS Q?

I ask b/c I have a MIR for $4 when you buy $8 of pumpkin (fresh or canned)--so I am hoping they are like $2 regular price so I can buy 4 cans-- use the WAGS Q and the $1/2 MQ and submit for the MIR to get free pumpkin

Still a great price for pumpkin if not as I have been pricing the Libby's in an attempt to use this MIR before it expires!!

#1-look's like $1.79 on the google doc...you'd have to buy 5 to get $8 worth.

#2-Yes..at my Wags it shows full price..then takes off the 7 days at the bottom...so you should be all set there

As you use Qs more and more, you always shop when an item is cheap or a good deal, then stash it until you do need it. Forget about shopping when you actually need something! It doesn't happen any more!

The hard part is training hubby to alert you when one of his few brand-specific items is running low so you can find a deal

bogo at 6.99 am I reading that right?

last week I got mine at CVS for BOGO 5.99. this week at, I think it was dollar general, if not, it was freds. pretty sure DG though. they are $3(each). youd come out a little cheaper there if you have one nearby.

I went to DG today to get the A& H soap, and it was $2.50 per bottle! After using my IP Qs, I paid $1.50 each! I totally wasn't expecting that, so what a sweet deal!

The taylortownpreview site shows some Kelloggs coupons coming out this weekend which might match up with the cereal sale. I am low on cereal & need some deals!!

After you sign in, click on the link again. You should then be able to print the $1/2.

So I went to the coupon database and clicked on the Libby's pumpkin link, which brought up Nestles, Very Best Baking, yada yada... and the coupon for $1/2 Libby's Pumpkin and entered my email addy as directed and it changed the coupon from $1/2 to .50/2. Kind of hurt my feelings. :shrug7:I
