This q was with my ad that I received in the early edition of the Sunday paper here. It was an outerwrap around the bottom of my ad (only covered the bottom portion of my ad). Not sure if it was only in the Pittsburgh Area or not - inside the ad - it lists Pittsburgh Wags pharmacies.

It read Receive a $25.00 walgreens gift card when you transfer your prescription to Walgreens. It is a store coupon to cut out and it expires on 1-10-09. The fine print states that it is not good in AR, ND, NJ. NY and pureto Rico.

I didn't see this posted anywhere and I am totally happy about finding it.

Does anyone know if the coupon is available in Ohio?
Thanks - I use the Rx ones whenever I can. We have a lot of Rx and it really helps to be able to use the gift cards for food and non-rx meds for the kids.

I have another question on coupons like these. Can you just transfer a perscription and get the $, or do you actually have to get it filled to get the $?

Lawrenceburg Indiana had these too. We are just outside Cincinnatti so hopefully OH will have them too.

you won't get the gc unless you transfer and pay for the prescription - you can always transfer it back to the store you had it at if you don't want to continue getting it filled at Wags.
