Well they did say no. I have the greatest Walgreens with greatest manager and I dropped off the transfer mid morning yesterday then went to get it at lunch...not ready...went at afternoon break,...not ready....went after work to the drive thru and sat for over 20 minutes and they could not get the coupon I printed here to work. He tried everything and apologized repeatedly but could not get it to work. SO I didn't transfer it. I need to find another way to get a coupon...or transfer it to Wags in OKC when I am there this weekend. My script was 23.00 and I asked why so much cause it is generic and they told me that you have to "buy" a W membership to get the generic $4.00/$12.00/90 days. It costs $20 for one person or $40 for family to get these prices. I was shocked to say the least...Walmart and Mays and Med X give you this price for free. What do you all know about this?
I have wish list and have list on the new coupon database. I have no idea how you find it tho, lol! I'm so confused

I called and asked and they said they had one copy of the coupon and didn't seem to have a problem with using it. I did print out a copy of the coupon to have on hand when I pick up the prescription but hopefully I won't need it. I am really hoping they don't have problems with their copy since I am really not in the best mood for a Wags run in again. The next closest wags (not even sure if it would be a greater metropolitan area) is over 30 mins away and we don't go there very often. Has anyone gotten this to work at a smaller wags?
    Thanks

Yep, Walgreens is a TOTAL RIPOFF when it comes to prescriptions. I can't believe people actually buy them there. I guess if you have insurance and just have a standard co-pay, etc then it doesn't matter where you buy it, the price is the same. But if you have to pay for a prescription, I have found that Walgreens is anywhere from 25% to 50% higher. Incredible!! I nearly laughed when they told me I could pay $20 per year for their plan and the price with the $20/yr discount card was STILL WAY MORE than Walmart, Costco, Target, etc. So I said to them, "Let me get this straight. I pay you $20 for the privilege of STILL paying more for my drugs?!" LOL. Thanks but no thanks. However, with the $25 gift card factored in, it will be cheaper than any other store so I will transfer it and use the $25 gift card coupon in Sunday's paper but you can bet I'll be transferring it right back to Costco the following month!

Just as an FYI, Costco is almost always the cheapest for drugs and you don't have to be a Costco member to make purchases at the Costco pharmacy.

This worked for me at our small store. It took quite a while for them to figure out how to do it but they never said anything about it not being valid here. Now I can use my gift card to get my FAR items with the coupon tomorrow!
