Walgreens Double Dip Days Oct 24th & 25th

I had a MANAGER tell me today that they REFUSE to give out any of the new books. I told them that they start today and he said "I know that but I dont want people coming in my store getting things for free like they do at these other stores." He insisted that I go to another store or "just print them out then" if I really wanted it THAT badly. I very politely called customer service who told him that he had no choice but to give me a book. I wasnt even going shopping, I just wanted to get the book for my trip later LOL. Of course to burn him a little more I bought 4 Yours and Mine with the $5 IP AND the 2 $5 IVS AND the $5/20...TAKE THAT!!!

Did anyone get the RR for buying 3 of the benefiber 16ct sticks tonight? I bought 3 kiwi strawberry and used 3 $2 Qs, I totally forgot about the $5 IVCs though and then I didn't get the RR. Did it stop working??? I'm going to return these now, it's not like I wanted or needed them...

I purchased 3 around sat afternoon used 3 $2 q's & the $5 ivc & got the RR.

I found 2 Benefiber Strawberry Kiwi tonight, used 2 $2/1 MFQs and $5/1 IVC and got the smaller RR. The two boxes were tossed on the top of the shelf, way in the back. And the $5/$20 automatically voided when my total dropped below $20 after Qs. Oops. RR and rebate items were good to buy.

I am loving double dip days!!!!!! I got 30 of the schick quatro razors. 40 of the lindt choc bars, 2 ipod docking stations, revitalift and the free night cream, 2 packages of childrens tylenol, nivea, and chemistry. All for 26.xx and I will get the rebate for about 33.xx so total I made about 6 dollars.

So, yesterday was my first coupon/rebate/double dip shopping expedition at Walgreens. I felt I went in very prepared thanks to you guys!

I had made a list of what I wanted to buy, and seeing that others had had problems getting the November ES book I printed out the coupons I wanted to use from it. (Sure enough, they didn't have EITHER of the books out; I didn't even ask about it.)

One thing I forgot to do was write down how many of each thing I wanted to buy. (Because of the limit being more than one for some of the rebates.) But it looks like I managed to buy the right amounts for the most part!

Even before rebates I did really well. It was really exciting, what a rush. My 10 year old complained about me taking so long. At least the 2 year old was with her dad so I didn't have to drag her through the shopping. She would not have been happy about it!!

They were out of the Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower kit thingy (which I was not too upset about as they have gotten pretty rotten reviews) and also out of one of the cheap toothpastes. And I was only able to get one Pert shampoo. I did manage to snag one of each type of the air freshener kits; I know I can only rebate on one but after the $4 Qs I had the other two ended up only $1.99 each. Also, one of them (I think the car kit?) had a peelie coupon on it for $3 that I put away for later.

Anyway... Thanks again to all of you. It was so much fun and soooo addictive. LOL!

Off to peruse the Sunday Qs...
