Today I went to Walgreens and tried to get the -
MaxFreshOriginal or with Beads, 6 oz. Sale Price $2.99 Less Coupon $2 Final Cost 99¢

The shelf that had the .99¢ sign, had ColgateTotal boxes. Could I take a ColgateTotal that is on the .99¢ shelf and ask them to validate the $2-super saver cupon? Is it valid?
They did not have any MaxFreshOriginal.

No. Apparently, the store has the shelf tag placed by the wrong item. I would let them know that, though. Just on the off chance that they are out and the store manager decided to substitute something else and make the oop for the substitute .99 (although the super Q wouldn't count).

Looks like I will be making a few trips in to stock up on Dr Pepper! Best price I have seen in a few weeks!! Now if I could just locate some coupons!!!

I found .55/1 2 liter bottle Dr Pepper coupons at an area David's Supermarket. They were stuck directly on the bottles.

4 Dr. Pepper=$5.00
4 MQ @ .55=$2.20
Register Rewareds=$2.00
4 bottles for $.80!!! Woohooo!!!

I'd do this deal over and over if I had more of those .55/1 coupons! LOL!

You guys who are having all these Walgreens issues should write your State Attorney General's office about improper business practices.
Walgreens is becoming notorious for trying to figure out how to not give you the deal they advertise.
They keep coming up with sneaky ways to try to get around you getting the correct deal.
I don't even know why they are like this, since using manufacturer's coupons on the deals is not cheating and they get not only the money for the coupons, but a handling fee as well, thereby making even more on the product than they want for it.
And it boosts their sales and makes their financial reports look good.
They should be thanking you for buying products there and using coupons.
You are not the enemy. It is a win-win situation.

The State Attorney General's office takes these complaints seriously and will look into them, especially if enough of you from the same state[s] write in.

It is an unethical practice to advertise a sale and then try to levy rules on the sale that aren't printed in the flyer.
Nowhere in the flyer does it say "can't use manufacturer's coupons to get this deal"
Walgreens corporation says they take coupons so they can't pick and choose when they take them, as long as the coupons are legal and valid.
Well, they can do it but it's annethical and improper business practice that can be regulated by your State Attorney General's office.

Everyone needs to stop complaining on the boards and take the time to write where it counts, if you ever want this thing fixed.

Ok I have to vent here.... I went to WAG to get the Free Revlon after mail in rebate... I had a $2.00 coupon... they didn't let me use it because of the rebate. Me like a dork, was like fine... I should have left it. that would have been a money maker!!!! wtf. what if I didn't do the rebate... they have no way of knowing what I am going to do with my receipt. It's not fair at all.

Well at my wag, I got the Crest toothpaste for .99 after that special coupon wag printed out last week... but I later realized that colgate was on sale for .99 AND I actually had .75 cents off that toothpaste!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it would have cost me like .24 for toothpaste.

The free styler coupon states you must buy BOTH shampoo AND conditioner and THEN you get FREE styler.
So buying 1 shampoo, AND 1 conditioner will result in getting a FREE styler

Yeah your right.. that's how it is.. you have to buy two products to get 1 free styler. I got mine yesterday.

I, too, was told this at my store (They said it was just our district, so you don't happen to be in Flint, do you?) and also wrote Corp. I received a call back from the store manager and she only wanted me to bring in a copy of my receipt, although I don't see what that would have accomplished. She would never clearly answer my question, just made it sound like each ad had to be read completely. Corp never responded directly either. I'd be interested to hear what your response was, if you ever got one.

I used a RR the other day in Florida with a man q and didn't have a problem.
