Here's a trick I do when something I read on a message board or in an e-mail sounds harsh: I read it over and over with a different accent or mood each time. Like it's a line in a play and the little direction that tells the actor how to read it is missing.

So I'll read it as an angry southern belle, or Crocodile Dundee, or a Shakespearian actor, or a mother consoling her child, or... It reminds me that I don't always know how the writer intended it... and it's very entertaining.

I have a question, I have a coupon for Buy 1 get ! Free for Vitamin water.
Walgreens has them on sale 3/$3... how do I do this and would there be any overage?

Yes, it's still a moneymaker even if you can only use one coupon for every two products.

where are you getting that one $4/1 coupon from?
isn't it $4.79 -$1 rebate = $3.79 for two plugins scented oil warmer or refills? is that right? Or did I miss a coupon somewhere?

Last night I went to Walgreens made my purchases. I already submitted my rebate for the month of August. Now there is one item on that receipt that I can use towards my september rebate. Should I have paid that seperately? or can I use the same receipt # for my september rebate?

crest pro health t/paste $3.79 - full rebate = free

Revlon Nail color $4.79 - full rebate = free

Chemistry shampoo $7.99 x 2 = $15.00 - $6.00 ESR coupons - $7.99 rebate = $1.99 oop

Energizer batteries $4.99 x 2 = $9.98 - $1.00 mfg coupon - $5.00 rebate = $3.98 oop
not too shabby for my first time around :)

I didn't have such a great day at Walgreens today. I noticed that my Peter Pan coupons were expired, they didn't have any Softsoap, no sugar free gelatin and no more Puffs. There were no more Walgreens ads at the front of the store and August Easy Saver Catalogs were gone. I had to borrow a cashier's WAGS ad. There were only 2 Glade Plug in warmers, so I got those. They rang up as 3.79 SALE and 1.00 SALE. After all that, I forgot to give her my $4 Glade q, so I got overcharged...grr!

does anyone think that the walgreen tuf paper towels is a good deal? i need towels, but could wait. i have no manu q for towels. they are 1.99 for 3 (.66) each?

They are .59 each with 7 day coupon this coming week (Aug 31-Sept 6). Thats when I usually get paper towels, that's a good enough price for me. Unless another store runs a sale on Bounty and I have a coupon for that.
