I went to 5 stores last night.... 3 said no, 1 was out of diapers and 1 let me so I did 2 deals there. One store told me that a email was sent from corporate to NOT allow you to use both coupons. I wonder if that is really true or it was just him making it up.

I was just coming on here to ask this too...has anyone ever had REAL confirmation from corporate that double dipping is OFFICIALLY ok? Last night I got TOTALLY blasted from my favorite mgr that she got an email from corporate stating that customers were NOT to use IVC's from two separate months in the same transaction...that this was a violation of Walgreen's policies. She said not only that, but they are now enforcing a 1-3 transaction limit on certain sale items (like the diapers), and that I would not be allowed to purchase more than that in a day's time. I was pretty upset because she made a really big deal about it in front of a lot of other customers, and kept using the words "fraudulent" and "ripping off" while I stood there with my mouth open (apparently someone had come in an hour before me and had 30 packs purchased before finally the cashier called the mgr up and then they had a big fight...so she was just loaded for kill when I walked through the door).

ANYWAY. I called corporate this morning to find out about the transaction limit, and was told that the stores had been advised to set that if they felt it was necessary. I also asked about using July/August coupons together and was told that absolutely were they NOT intended to be used together. I say then...WHY THE HECK HAVE THE OVERLAP TIME!?

Does anyone else have any real information on this??

*sigh*. Wish I hadn't waited so long to get my diapers.
