Walgreen's Bayer Aspirin Deal 7-6-08 ? ?

:frown: Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

I went into Wags, "Just knowing I had THE DEAL OF THE CENTURY" only to find out, I didn't.

I purchased (5) of the Bayer Aspirin (30 ct Dup Caps) on page 13 of sales ad. on sale for $4.99
I gave them (5) manf. q. in the amount of $2.50 each.
According to the sales ad I was to received back: (5) $2 Register Rewards, which I didn't.

So the deal should of been:
5 boxes of Bayer aspirin for: costing me $2.50
Instead 5 boxes of Bayer aspirin cost me: $12.50
Did I do something Wrong?

Usually the RR will only print out one transaction for a certain promotion. So on the Bayer, if you bought one box, used 1 coupon, it should give a $2 RR. Buying more than 1 in a transaction unfortunately won't give you multiple RR, so you'd need to split them up into separate transactions, and then should receive a $2 RR each time. (Just don't use one of the $2 RR you earned on Bayer to purchase more Bayer, otherwise you won't get another one.) HTH!

Let me make sure I have this in my mind correcty:
I should have purchased (1) Bayer Aspirin for $4.99 used my $2.50 manf q.
Paying Out Of Pocket $2.49 and then I would of received back $2.00 in Register Rewards? Ultimately costing me 0.49 for the one box of aspirin.

I should of done this transaction 5 Seperate Times in order to receive $2.00 back in Register Rewards each and every time ?

Yes, that's correct. I've learned the hard way too. It sucks.

Take 4 of them back and do them seperately. Don't waste good RR's when you don't have to.

No, you wouldn't get your MQ back. You'll need one Q for each item you purchase. So, 4 Bayer =4 MQ in 4 transactions = 4 $2 RR.

Even though you wont get your man. Q back, you will still get full value for the Bayer. Use the refund to re-purchase the Bayer and it comes out even plus you will get your RR.
