By then the shelves may be bare. LOL

The shelves were almost bare already at my store. Ended up with only 4 bottles! There's no way I'm waiting for overage. I'll be out tomorrow trying to use up my coupons!

I went today and got 6 bottles. Only had to pay tax. They hopefully get more in because after my 6 there were only about 15 bottles left. They werent stocked at all.

Got 8 bottles today. Just paid the tax. YAY!! I cleared the shelf though...I will get more when I get more coupons this week.

I hit two different stores and at the first one, the cashier kept praising me, LOL!!! "Well that was pretty smart, girl!"

But at the second store, the cashier got confused about how to ring up the coupon. So she calls over the manager (at this point I get a little nervous, but I'm prepared just to void the order if they aren't willing to honor it), and tells the manager "We have a B1G1 special, and this q is B1G1.....so she won't have to pay nuthin for it!" The manager just said...."Well? Yeah....except the governments salary (tax)!" He just pushed it through and said,...."I need to get me a couple of THOSE coupons, LOL!"

When I went to my store they only had four bottles on the shelf. This was Friday. Our area doesn't get the Loreal coupons so I am hoping the four bottles will be there when I get the coupons I traded for.

This newbie is extremely happy! I got 6 bottles today, $0 OOP! (We don't pay tax on coupons in TX.)

It was funny too. I had already done one transaction at the front of the store but when I went back in to use my other 2 coupons I checked out at the cosmetics counter instead because of the line.

The cashier says, "But these are already on sale BOGO." I explained that I was buying the second one for FREE and that it wasn't a requirement that I pay full price for the one I was 'buying'. She says, "Huh? I'm confused." I explained it again and she goes, "So you get all 4 of these for free??"

She was impressed. So was I. All told today, $57.92 worth of shampoo, conditioner & razors, $0 OOP.

The cashier at the front even asked, "What are you paying for?" My answer..."the starbursts for my son." His reply, "That's the way to shop."

The way I explained it to the manager who was called today was

"Walgreens is giving me the first one free, and the manufacturer is giving me the other one free because the manufacturer will pay you for one of them"

then the cashier said, "the only thing I can think to do is give half off the first"

he just looked at her weird and said, "that would be fraud" thats when I knew I would be fine. he said to me "your exactly right" and typed in 4.99 for each coupon
