My Wags denied me free Vive Pro color Gloss with my bogo q's. Got the old "Can't use BOGO when you're gettin' it free" add to that she called over the new manager trainee. Oh well, one more uninformed Wags Manager created today. It's on sale next week at CVS so it wasn't worth arguing over.

The coupon is for the HYDRA gloss (the yellow one for DRY hair). so i don't think you can use it for Color Gloss anyway.
I got 4 bottles and only paid tax ! GREAT deal OP. repped Ya ! Thanks !

The coupon DOES beep but only becuz the cashier has to input the price for the free bottle = $4.99.
If challenged explain that WAGs pays for one bottle and the Manufacturer pays for the other one. It usually works like a charm.
If they still won't do it, ask them to void the sale, cuz you know you can use the coupon at CVS next week. That usually works too !

Well, I just got back from my WAGS, got 4 Sure deodorants and 6 Hydra Gloss conditioners and only paid tax!!

However, the cashier was snotty and scolded me for handing my q's over at the end of the tansaction instead of after each item was rung up. So sorry, geez!! Then after I had paid and was trying to leave (2 kids in tow, was trying to juggle my wallet, bags and kids), she calls the manager to ask him if it was ok to use the BOGO q with the BOGO sale. Being a newbie, it made me feel like I was doing something wrong, like I was stealing or something. :frown: Oh well, I still came away with 4 deodorants, 6 conditioners, a princess cup for DD and a bag of M&M's (for me!) for only $4.07. I'll take that anyday!!

I was denied at one of my 5 stores yesterday. Manager was totally clueless and kept telling me I had to buy 4 in order to use the coupon. I finally had enough of his inaccuracy and told him so. Then I said his store was the only one using his logic and I would just shop elsewhere.

I 'know this q seems to work for the most part, heck it even worked for me, I got 6 free bottles today!! But I really don't understand HOW it works!! I tried to write it out, this was the best I could come up with. With my logic, you should only get 3 bottles for free???????????????

Bottle A - Coupon sees this as "bought", making it free
Bottle B - BOGO free from WAGS
Bottle C - ???
Bottle D - BOGO free from Coupon

You buy two bottles, one of them is free from the store, and you "pay" for the other one with a BOGO coupon, which they enter the value of one bottle on. You only have to buy two bottles and have one coupon for it to work, you don't have to buy four bottles. HTH

OK my take on this. Each shampoo botlle is numbered - S1, S2.

You go to the store. They say to you - the sale is BOGO

You buy S1, we give you S2 for freeeeeeeee.

OK. I like that.

Then you whip out your BOGO MQ and hand it over.

for the coupon logic, you bought S2 and the coupon got you the S1 freeeee.
It doesn't matter that you bought S2 for 0.00. What counts is that you bought S2.

So, S1 is free courtesy the MQ, S2 is 0.00 courtesy the store sale.

Are we all still with me or are we at HCW calling me the cuckoo lady?

Don't know why I was jumping to 4 bottles....ok it's based on 2 bottles....

then bottle A paid for with the MQ and bottle B paid for by WAGS....
