In the July EasySaver booklet page 60-61 there is a 2 page ad about the presciption savings club. There is a blue oval with the words "Visit the pharmacy to see how much you can save and Get $50 in coupons, just for asking!" Just for asking seems to me like you don't have to sign up to get it. So I guess if you take the easysaver and show the pharmacist, s/he should give you one? - That's how I got mine...

I asked for one of the booklets and my Wag's refused to give it to me. They said I had to pay $20 had to join the RX club in order to get the coupons. This is NOT true. If you look at the Wag's website (under "Walgreen's Prescription Savings Club") it says:

"... $50 in coupons just for asking your pharmacist how much you can save!"

But.... I went ahead and joined the club for $20 because you earn a 10% reward for all Wag's brand items. I buy lots of Wag's brands. They are just as good as other brands if not better.

I'm glad I read this thread. I am dropping off 3 new prescriptions at Wags tomorrow and I am going to ask the tech or pharmacist for the booklet. I'll let you know how it works out.

Ask and you shall receive? We'll see if that applies at my Wags!

I tried to find one at our store and no one in the pharmacy had a clue. I called the 800 number from the website and asked. The rep that answered was not sure why they didnt know but would have someone contact me. about 2 hours later the local store manager called me and apologized. He said they should have known and they know now. He was even willing to mail me one. I told him I would just stop by. So if the pharmacy doesnt know try the store manager.

Went to Wags, picked up my prescriptions, asked for the booklet. Lot of discussion inside (I was at the drive-thru), finally, after looking high and low, found them. He gave me one. Great! Got home, looked at it, all Qs expired 3/31/08. Went back the next day, asked for a new one. They don't have any besides those. They wrote a note on the front of it for the manager to approve using an expired Q out of it when I used them. Well, I would think there are different Qs in each new edition. I don't want last year's Qs, I want today's Qs!

I was told by the pharmacy that it's the "W" booklet and it would cost me $20 to join.
I'll look at 2 stores in a different town next week for a freebie.
