So here is the moneymaker on the Maalox:
$3.99 1 Maalox 35ct. Chewables
-$2 Maalox MFG $2/1 Any Chewable 6/1 SS
-$2 WAGS June IVC
-$2 WAGS July IVC
---------------------------
-$2.01 + tax
OR
$5.29 Maalox Liquid (this is the cheapest variety at my store)
-$2 Maalox MFG $2/1 Any Chewable 6/1 SS
-$2 WAGS June IVC
-$2 WAGS July IVC
-------------------------------
-$.71 + tax
I did this deal with last month's overlap and the $1.50 MFG Qs and it worked perfectly. There are lots of Q's left at the clipping sites and on eBay.
Now:
1.) Go order some q's
2.) Have your store order some extra Maalox
3.) Do said transaction(s)
4.) Leave Wags with a bunch of Maalox and lots of their stuff and money!!(And don't deviate from this order. You'd probably end up in jail LOL!)
Just make sure that your store will let you double dip with the IVCs.

Before you go ordering coupons, I would read the following. I emailed Walgreens just to ask about using both IVC coupons on the same product in the same transaction. I wanted to have an email handy saying it was okay in case I had problems at checkout. However, here is the response I received:
June 18, 2008
Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for taking your time to contact our Corporate Offices. We
appreciate hearing from our customers and value all comments received.
You are correct, on occasion 2 rebate months may overlap with the same
products available for rebate or the circular ads and rebate catalogues may
have the same coupons. However, because our EasySaver coupons state "not valid with any other offer", they may not be redeemed together for the same product in the same transaction. Our Advertising Department has been notified of this issue and we are currently working to resolve this. I
apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
Again, thank you for contacting our corporate office. We truly appreciate
you taking the time to share your comments.
Sincerely,
April S.

So, I personally will not be doing the overlap deals. Big bummer!![]()
I am not trying to start any contoversy here but can someone explain how you can use 2 store coupons and 1 man coupon on 1 item? Doesn't this go against every coupon rule out there? I understand that they are different coupons but where else can you use 3 coupons on one item? I tried to do this at 3 different stores last month after seeing a thread like this one and the coupons wouldn't even go through. Please fill me in!
My Wishlist I shop Walgreens, Copps/Pick n Save (Doubles up to $1.oo), Walmart, Kmart, Target and CVS. Shopping for Myself, DH and 2 toddlers.
This is our official stance on the double dip IVC's
HCW's Official Policy On Double Dipping with IVC Coupons at Walgreens
Recently there has been much discussion about the ethics of double dipping on overlapping months on the Walgreens IVC coupons. I emailed Walgreens corporate offices and fully disclosed that I was asking on behalf of our online community of Walgreens shoppers if using 2 non expired IVC coupons was allowed on one item.
The email I received back did confirm to me that this practice is allowed.
So while I have seen other emails that members have posted that have contradicted this we are going to go with the email that Hot Coupon World received that states that it is allowed.
Should Walgreens change thier register programming to not allow the use of 2 Walgreens IVC coupons or recant thier position sometime in the future we will address this at that time.
In the meantime... Happy Shopping! :shopping2:

As you know this is a YMMV, good luck to those who's stores allow it.

Indeed this is YMMV. I've never had a problem with it at my stores. They work fine. Since we post double-dip threads here at HCW each month, I'm working under the assumption that WAGS is OK with it (as irishlass verified) and it's OK to post these types of deals. Remember, we do this all the time with MFG, IVC, and 7-Day combined. The way I see it, in this scenario, we are still using 2 WAGS Qs on the same item. What's the difference?
Out of curiosity, did the e-mails that were sent come from corporate or the district level maybe? This may be a case of certain stores or districts not allowing it and corporate is saying that they may or may not allow it, but it's ultimately up to them.
