You'll want to give the manufacturer coupons first then the IVCs. I don't think it really matters which IVC first this time since they are the same amount. HTH.

ETA: The Walgreens store coupons automatically take off the amount for each item regardless of the limit written on the coupon. YMMV on whether or not your cashier cares about/ enforces the limits.

I just went to my store to check and see if they had the July books out yet (yes, at 3 in the morning!!) and they weren't out yet. Asked cashier if he had any behind the counter and he said that they won't be out until the 28th.

I said..."It is now technically the 28th."

He said check back in the morning.

Your cashier was WRONG (big surprise). Stop in and have a "discussion" regarding training issues w/ the store manager.

The new monthly books started on 6/27. I have mine in front of me. I got it 6/27 about 3 pm. It was actually out which did amaze me since I generally have to ask.

There is NO WAY I would come back to a store multiple times wasting my time/gas. File a complaint w/ WAG corp. Tell them why you did NOT shop their store 1 day INTO their new promo. Ask corp how many other people just walked out like you did w/o buying anything but did not bother to let corp know there was a problem?

To my GREAT SHOCK (haha) and suprise, 2 Wags by me refused to give me the July book last night. They said it was illegal to do it. I ased why other stores in the Cincinnati area had them out and also why it was on their website if it was illegal! I plan on calling corporate Monday to complain.

That is so funny. My store had both months' displayed. Since last night was double dip and 5/20, I had fun. The cashier cheered and I asked her if she used any of the stuff I bought and gave her coupons. I even handed out coupons to other customers in the store. The manager was super nice and everyone was friendly. Without going through all the transactions, I saved over $108 and got stuff that we use and stuff I had been wanting (pedegg).

My WAGS wouldn't let me use the June IVC b/c it says Maalox Quick dissolve tablets, and the 35 ct they carried were just reg chewables. I didn't even look at the q when I cut it out b/c I was reading everyone was using it with no problems. I didn't notice the wording. Used the MFG and July IVC ok so they were free. But I wanted overage! I swear they practically went over my coupons with a microscope. There must be a lot of 'sketchy' couponers out there somewhere.

Aren't the IVC's on the M&M's $1/2 so you would have to buy two right? So this would be the scenario:

2 M&M's Dk choc = $5.98 - $1 IVC = $4.98 - $1 IVC = $3.98 - .75 manq = $3.23 - .75 manq = $2.48 for 2 bags

the nutripals were tagged on the shelf and sticker tagged 4.79 clarance. they rang up 5.99 but they adjusted the price for me. Only 3 maalox on the shelf but atleast i can say I was able to get a few :D Cashier was great and no problems with both coupons here

so... I wasted about an hour of my life at walgreens today. I had a buggy full of maalox, lamisil and nutripals and all my coupons. Get to the register, july coupon beeps (gave it first) manager comes over and say cannot use two walgreens coupons on same item. Errr..of course I said that I have done it tons of times in the past and that i didn't want anything except a pk of clearance pens and some clearance postit cards. ha so aggravating, I had nothing to back me up! She said that she would check on Monday, (of course too late for me!) and would let me know what corporate says. ugh I don't have the patience to try at another store especially because the coupon beeps, they all seem to lose it when this happens!
