Walgreen OMG--CHECK OUT this wording on a new RR

Excludes Prescriptions and items prohibited by law, also excludes tobacco, alcoholic beverages, sales tax, lottery tickets, money orders / transfers, dairy, prescription savings club membership, health care services and gift /phone/ prepaid cards. Coupon can not exceed purchase amount. Total number of manufacturer coupons / register rewards cannot exceed the number of items in the transaction. Register rewards must be forfeited if qualifying merchadise is returned. Customer pays any sales tax. Coupon may not be bought, reproduced, transferred or sold. No cash value. No cash back.

This seriously takes up 2 paragraphs........here is a idea......why don't they just print one sentence that says.......

"good luck trying to use these"

I actually like the new wording. No more of the '1 per customer.' It says you can use as many RR as you have items. So that is VERY good.

The problem now is that you can't use these RR with the $/$ they send out. That SUX.

WAG is now pretty much worthless.

Oh that is a good point about it NOT saying one per customer.......that is a positive.
I just think it is CRAZY.......I looked on another RR I got tonight and instead of being broken into 2 paragraphs.......it actually is all one paragraph and it is TINY print that is so LONG it runs into the bar code!

So you can't use the RR to buy milk and cheese? Oh wait are eggs dairy too? What about yogurt, cottage cheese and sour cream are those dairy too? Just wondering, cause I remember at one time getting a RR just for milk when we bought cereal or cookies. Don't understand the reasoning behind excluding dairy?

I like the wording about the limits too actually. LOL! It's like they FINALLY figured out how to keep the registers from locking up by allowing one manu/Catalina coupon per item. Wonder if they learned that from HCW?

But the dairy thing? What's the big deal is about that, I wonder?

I do like the clarifications--both in the op and in barbyq's post.

"also excludes" is so much clearer than "may exclude." Too bad we all had to lose dairy, though.
