| | 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... Ugh I am really starting to not like Walgreens! Today I had a basket full of stuff and I was going to do a few different transactions like normal... well I should know better than to go in the mornings since all of the awful cashiers and managers are there during the morning shift.
Anyways, the cashier says he has to ask a manager if I can use more then 1 RR per day, I was like OMG whatever here comes some more drama.
So the same manager that I called the supervisor on last week for harrassing me about what I was going to do with the stuff I bought and accusing me of taking it and selling it elsewhere comes up, reads the fine print, and says, you can only use "one per order which means 1 per day". I was like well isn't each time I do a transaction " an order"? He says, that's not how they are suppose to be used, back to back like that. I was like whatever I'll come back 9 different times today and finish up my shopping then.
Walgreens is the only store I ever have problems at.... |

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... wow - I used 2 $3RR's yesterday to get the Gillette 2-in-1 gel - I told him I needed him to ring them up separately because I was using RR's and had no problem. Did multiple "ring these up separate because I'm using RR's" on Saturday too with no problem. |

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... I heard this at perhaps two stores. I just worked around their "rules". Different cashiers at the same stores were saying different things. I don't care for Walgreens... I simply try to pay as little OOP as possible, and get as much as I can... |

They have enough customers willing to pay full price. Quote:

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... I ran into this for the first time Friday evening (as I was frantically running last minute errands before driving to my parent's house).
I laughed. Forced the cashier to hold up the line for a good 25 minutes while the assistant manager did his best to ignore me long enough to get me to leave.
They refused to budge, so I politely pointed out that I had about $150 in items to purchase. Money that goes towards determining how many hours they can have for people to work each week, and towards determining the store manager's bonus. And I was sure to let them know that I wouldn't be bringing my business back, no matter how much I really wanted that $80 humidifier for $20.
As for the 1 per order language, it is completely unclear as to whether that language refers to one per order when you receive the register reward (which the computers are set to limit) or one per order when you redeem them. Which of the following applies?-- For Coupons: Require purchase necessary. No redemption for cash or credit. Cash value 1/20¢. Or... For Any Offer (As Applicable): Offer valid only as stated. Cannot be combined with the same or any other offer. Expires on the date stated. Limit 1 offer per purchase. Void if altered, duplicated, copied, reproduced, transfered, traded [interesting.], sold, purchased, auctioned, exchanged, or where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. I demanded (and waited an additional 10 minutes for) the district office's phone number and will be calling sometime this week. |

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... I was totally excited when they started building the new WAG, near my house. But, now I'm not sure if I'm so happy, after reading all of the posts from the past week or so.
Right now, I rarely shop at WAG, since it's not convenient to anywhere else I shop. It would be bad enough to drive 5 miles out of my way to go to one store....but if I got there and got hassled, or they were out of everything that was on my list, it would be a total waste of gas!

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... I only shop WAGs because its across from the grocery store so its not out of the way or extra effort. As I've said many times, other than the couponer who clears the shelves on me all the time, I have no problems with the deals. My RR always print, they are always willing to let me do multiple transactions (or open the beauty counter just for me). I'd love some more leeway to roll the RRs or a longer expiration date, but life is meant to be lived not stressed over. |

| | Re: 1 RR Per Day? Whatever... I truely believe the coupon wording refers to EARNING 1 RR per purchase. But I can play with whatever the MOD wants. If they tell you it's 1 per customer ask them how they do a customer count at the end of the day. They will tell you customer count is determined by the number of transactions done on the registers. Then by their very own definition, you are a new customer every time you check out.
I truely and honestly do not understand why stores are not liking customers earning and redeeming RR. These are sales promoted by their ads. They are manufacture coupons that are redeemed for face value from the manufacture. These deals should make the customer excited and happy to shop at WAG. When the customer is happy they shop more. WAGs is only shooting themselves in the foot when they deny the use of these coupons.
