You are not supposed to use register rewards from Walgreen's anywhere but Walgreen's.

RR clarification. I was planning to use 2 RRs tonight to do the Lipton/Ragu/Skippy deal to get another RR back.

But...I read at another blog stating that if I use RRs, it won't spit out another RR for me. Is this true?

Also, I can use 2 RRs in one transaction right?

I'm hoping for any recent experiences - in case the rules changed very recently. There seems to be so many different rules out there. Thanks!

1. You can use RRs to pay for items that produce new RRs ONLY if they are different products/promotions. This is called rolling. For example, if you purchased the Oral B toothbrushes that generated a 5.50RR (note: expired offer), you can use that RR on the Unilever Foods deal (aka: Ragu/Skippy/Hellmann's) and it will generate a new RR. However if you do the Unilever deal, get the 5RR and use it as partial payment for another Unilever deal, it will NOT generate a new RR.

2. You can use as many RRs as you have items for, if they have the most recent verbage on them: "... TOTAL NUMBER OF MANUFACTURER COUPONS/REGISTER REWARDS CANNOT EXCEED THE NUMBER OF ITEMS IN THE TRANSACTION. ..." They no longer read "limit one per purchase."

Thanks, ayenbe.

And you read my mind - I was going to use my Oral B RRs for the Unilever deal.

Please read concerning Walgreens Register Rewards
There has been much discussion on the board regarding the redemption of Walgreen's register rewards. People are posting about using these at stores other than Walgreens. These register rewards are generated as a marketing effort in accordance with an agreement between Walgreens and various manufacturers. We have been told that stores other than Walgreen's may not receive redemption for these coupons when presented at the clearing house.
In light of this, any posts discussing the use of these Walgreens RR coupons anywhere other than at Walgreens will be deleted unless your store accepts Walgreens Catalinas as competitor coupons, as a matter of policy. We understand there may be other exceptions made on the store level, but please do not post about it here at HCW.
Any violations of this rule will be subject to the warning and infraction system.

I don't understand why. I've written Proctor and Gamble twice, and both times that they will reimburse any store.

The first email included this "While we reimburse stores for the full face value of the coupons they redeem (plus the normal retailer's handling fee), we can't force them to accept our coupons. Sometimes stores develop their own policies regarding coupon redemption; or they aren't familiar with our coupon redemption rules. If that's the case, you might want to encourage the store manager to contact our coupon redemption center directly."

The second time I specified, if Walmart accepts this coupon they WILL be reimbursed, correct? And received this
If the coupons say, "Manufacturer's coupon," you can use them at other stores, inlcuding Wal-mart. "

And these do say Manufactur's coupon on them

I have a question regarding this weeks sale ad, pg 11 RR. Are the items qualifying for RR on the whole page, or just the top of the page? TIA!

Just the top of the page. Has the greenish color box around the items.
