I would like to know the answer to purchasing the GC's as well I already received 1 infraction for it.. I wasn't aware it couldn't be discussed.. (my oops)

I would like to save someone else the same trouble and just have it over with. Either we can or we can't..

My one $10 RR specifically says that it excludes P&G products. I'm not talking about rolling. I'm talking about using an RR that P&G is going to pay for. I would think they rather pay me to buy their products than somebody else's, but their wording specifically excludes that.

Oops... sorry Saving44 .. I misunderstood. I apologize. None of my RR have that exclusion on them... I didn't realize some do.

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH! My head hurts. I am so confused. All I know after all this talk, is when my kids ask if they can have a cookie at 9:30 a.m., I tell them they "may" not. I don't mean yes, maybe, possibly, let me think some more, only if it's Tuesday in Octember, I mean NO!!!!!!! Maybe a "normal" consumer should help WAGS get the wording down so there are NO questions. Thanks for all the great info ... that I will probably lay awake tonight, sorting through all of it in my pea mommy brain, trying to understand. Oh who am I kidding!!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness! I'm so super glad that I've been avoiding Walgreens like the black plague lately. This only confirms my reasoning to just stay away. I'm so sorry for all of you trying to figure out what is right, moral, ethical, legal and honest. Whewww I need a drink! (coffee that is!)

I am becoming more and more turned off by wags. Not only do they not have enough stock in the stores to do the RR when you do get one it like moving heaven to use. I was in the beginning under the impression that they could be "used like cash" now more items are being removed. Would it not be better if they just had a real answer. Yes you can use them for this no you can't for that. I was told that I could not use them with ANY other coupon no matter what I was buying no matter what my oop was. I am in no way interested in committing fraud, causing someone to be fired, or "stealing". I just want them to stop changing the rules and be forthcoming about what the "real" rules are.

Im really confused!

The CG talk has been stopped b/c its not what the stores intended b/c your suppose to buy 9 and the other is just a "loop hole" I guess so Im cool with that. I like the fact that HCW keeps everything on the up and up atleast that way I can look at scenerios without wondering is that legit?

But what about the PG RR where it says you cant use it for other PG items (which is such crazy marketing) we are all talking about using the $10 pg to do the venus which is a PG product. Im not trying to get any other posts deleted or another subject band but Im so confused!
I was going to do the Venus to roll the PG but now Im afraid Id be committing fraud so I dont want to do that.
So I was wondering if a mod or admin could clear that up? Is it not allowed to buy ANY product put out by PG or just you cant buy the same RR/ PG products?
Im so confused.

I was directed to this link and I'm grateful. I undersatand that HCW wants us to keep everything legit, but the wording on these particular RR are very confusing. It does not say you cannot use them toward gc's. It says you may not be able to.

I can understand not allowing talk of other things that are cut and dry but this issue obviously is not. How else are we going to figure this out if we don't discuss it here?

Do you think that the manufacture expected for coupons to be sold and customers using multiple coupons (yes I know that you are paying for the cutting service, not for the coupon).

I'm not trying to cause trouble, but I think everyone might need to hire a lawyer to get into heaven.

Food for thought, with a coupon I hope.
Sorry it took so long but here are some answers to hopefully help answer your questions.

So if the Walgreen's Coupon says not to be used with any other offer, why do the majority of posts tell you that you can combine it with a manufacturer's coupon? To be honest with you I do not know what "Any other offer" means but I do not take the use of manfactures coupons to mean "another offer". Walgreens coupon policy has been clearly defined as allowing the combination of a store coupon (which is in effect really a sale price) and a manf. coupon.

If the Walgreen's coupon say Limit 2 per coupon, why do we inform everyone that it will take $x of each item, to use the coupon on more than the limit specified? We always (or should) tell folks that the store has the right to uphold the limits of the coupons. But the fact is that Walgreens really does not care if you buy 2, 4, 6, or 8. The only case where I have seen the limit enforced is when Walgreens is issuing a raincheck and they will use the limit on the Walgreens coupon as the limit on the raincheck.

If the RR says limit one per purchase, why do some say my Walgreen's will except multiple?
Best way to explain this is to define the common terms of a coupon:

One per purchase = one coupon per item bought
One per transaction = each time you check out and get a new receipt is a trasaction
One per customer = each time you enter the store you are a new customer
One per person = You can only do this deal/use this coupon once period (but other members of your household can do the deal or use another coupon
One per household = is just that you can do the deal/use the coupon once and other members of your household can not go in and do the deal or use the coupon (used mostly on rebates but sometimes on coupons but rare)

Now some of these are really hard to enforce and of course store managers can interpret the wording differently but in speaking with many manf.'s that is how I understand the wording to mean.

I hope this helped answer your questions.
As far as RR on giftcards.......still no answerBut if I ever hear something I will post it.

just throwing my .01 in here.. (not worth much)
I got to thinking about the wording this afternoon and we know some states have the dairy exclusion which would lead to the "may not be used" "in those states", so the next thing would be are all states excluded from the giftcard purchase by law?

As far as the whole "can not be used on Procter and Gamble items", how many of the average shoppers really know who makes what?

My sister is almost 30, and has no kids. Shops for what she needs, when she needs it. I just spoke to her on the phone with her and I asked her to name 3 P&G products. Guess what? NOT EVEN ONE!!!! I really wasn;t surprised.

Does P&G and Wags expect every customer and cashier to scrutinize the package of items they purchase?
I really really doubt it...
