I haven't had a problem yet using multiple RR in one transaction. I have 5 stores that I go to and 2 of them regularly. Not one cashier has batted an eye. I haven't used several on just one item though.....

the cashier let me using multiple RR in one transaction but the system beep, so I still can not use it even the total before tax is more than RR

I have always been able to use more than on RR per transaction (as long I wasn't just paying tax) and had more items than RR. Well today, I tried to use more than one and the manager wouldn't let me . I kept asking her where it said on the coupon and she wouldn't budge. I am going to complain to WAGS and the State Attorney General. They adevertise them as "use like cash"

Today a cashier tried to tell me I can't use MFQs and get RR back. I told her never had problem before so she calls manager. Manager says RR should still print so I continue check out. Then I go to hand her a $2 RR from a different promo and they both tell me they are 100% sure if I pay with RR I won't get RR. I tell them I think that's only if you try to use RR from same promo. After several minutes I say well let's just complete it and see. If it doesn't print then my loss and I will know better next time.

So she completes transaction and my RRs print out much to thier surprise.

I was almost afraid manager was not goin to let me have them. She ripped them from the machine and checked them up & down lol. She said well that machine is funny sometimes and handed them to me. I got the $5 RR for 3 Soft Soaps which were $2.99 each after $1 ESC but best deal was the Glade Wisp Candle on sale $5.99 used $5 MFQ paid 0.99 + got the $3 RR!

Not long ago, my Wags posted a sign on all registers saying that if you used q's, RRs would not print. The cashier and I had a conversation similar to what you described, in which she told me that using q's would not produce the RR. It ended with me getting my RR. I went home and emailed corp, asking them to "clarify" the policy on this, just to head off any future problems. A few days later, the manager called me back and we had a nice conversation in which he said they were all still trying to "figure out" RRs. The signs were gone the next time I went back. On my next transaction, when I got out my RR to pay, the same cashier informed me that they had decided that man. q's do not cancel out the RR but other RRs do, so I wouldn't get it if I paid with that one, and they just had to do a return that morning because of it. I said I would go ahead and try (I know she was already envisioning another return). The RR printed, and she was surprised. She was nice about it, though. I told her I thought it was just when you try to pay with one from the same promo, and she seemed to think that had merit :)

You might suggest, next time, that they read THEIR OWN AD. See page 24 of ad for week 10-12 to 10-19, last page, Dove ad. It lists RR, sale price, plus the "look for coupon savings in most Sunday papers."

They ususally have one of these in each week's ads, or you could clip this out and keep it with you in your coupon holder.

Yeah, the whole "same as cash" thing is a bit of a joke. By that standard you should be able to use them like "cash" and they shouldn't even prevent the same promo from printing RR. I think I'm going to use up my RR to get the rebates this month and call it even. Trying to "do deals" with RR has been nothing but problems for me.

And when I call catalina on Tuesday, I'm going to have some serious words about my having to call in three times in the span of two weeks to get my RR, and then I have to wait six to eight weeks to get what's rightfully mine! Stuff happens, but if the stores do not understand how they work, why do they promote them?

It sounds to me like Walgreens & Catalina need to set up some sort of internet based training for ALL the store clerks on coupons & RRs.

Since these RRs are technically ManuQs, has anyone tried using their RRs at CVS? Will they take competitor coupons? If so....I can forsee a TON of deals in my future :)

Please read concerning Walgreens Register Rewards
There has been much discussion on the board regarding the redemption of Walgreen's register rewards. People are posting about using these at stores other than Walgreens. These register rewards are generated as a marketing effort in accordance with an agreement between Walgreens and various manufacturers. We have been told that stores other than Walgreen's may not receive redemption for these coupons when presented at the clearing house.
In light of this, any posts discussing the use of these Walgreens RR coupons anywhere other than at Walgreens will be deleted unless your store accepts Walgreens Catalinas as competitor coupons, as a matter of policy. We understand there may be other exceptions made on the store level, but please do not post about it here at HCW.
Any violations of this rule will be subject to the warning and infraction system

Also if you look in the Redplum from this week it states...Always Infinity: Sale price 4.99 Less PandG Brandsaver Q -2.00 Final Cost 2.99 SAVE MORE with Register Rewards -1.00 Use like cash on your next Walgreens Purchase! Like Paying 1.99. Although I never have troubles at my Walgreens. I folded this up and put it in my coupon binder...Then how can any Walgreens Employee dispute that?

Thanks, I just cut this ad out of the Redplum and am going to carry it with me. My store is great also but this way I will be prepared if necessary at any others I might go to.
