supposedly our local store received email from corp that says they will only allow ONE register reward to be used from now on. So if I have a stack of five $5 register rewards on one transaction I can only use one of them.

Sad ... very sad!! :(

Last night I went to use my $5/20 coupon, and I wanted to use my first RR to pay also. This was a RR for $2.00 from buying All. The clerk had no idea what I was talking about. She kept telling me I had to purchase All again & then I would get another coupon for it. She had no clue with RR's. Finally the Ass't mgr. straightened it out. but I have never been to Walgreens without having to go through the manager or Ass't manager to finally get out of there.

My question is, do RR's cause problems all the time (in addition to all the other problems one has)?

You must have had a new cashier. As long as you have only one MQ (including RR) for each product you're buying, you should be okay. Personally, I can live with a little hassle if I continue getting such great deals. It's all in how you choose to respond/react to the situation. JMHO.

You said a mouth full on that one. Most customers think they have to spin off. All that does is make me shut it down. My #1 rebater is always so cool calm and collected. She is so nice that I started to listen to her and really understand what she was doing. Now I do what I can to help all couponers. Before I let a few bad eggs, dishonest couponers, turn me off to it. I would not give an inch. computer will not take it then it does not go. Now I train my employees, the best I can, to understand how they work and what order to scan them in. But back to the point, it is all in how you respond/ react to the situation. negative in, negative out.

As long as you're buying 2 completely different promotions, both should print.

Ask for the main store manager.
Tell him/her you want to see a copy of that email yourself.
If they won't let you, ask for the District Manager's phone number.
Sometimes that lets them know you are serious.

Any rule should be able to be presented to a customer, not just spouted off verbally.
