Walgreens - Grrr..now there is a Colgate Catalina Too!! OMG

I just got a call from the store manager who was trying a bunch of stuff to see what worked. He got the catalina to print when he rang up 4- 2 Pack colgate clean mint 6oz. toothpastes they are $5.89 each.

He didn't understand why those worked and not the 6oz single toothpastes and apparently there was a mistake in the upc coded for the deal.

Wow, you're lucky that you have such a dedicated store manager! From what he reported, it looks that this RR deal is from last week's deal (week of 4/27).

Update - went to back to Wags yesterday and the manager had no idea what the coupon fulfillment form was, but was extremely nice and offered to research it. I told him to hold off as I would try calling Catalina back. Today I spoke with a very nice person there who verified that the UPC's of what I purchased were not coded to work for this RR. I asked if he had any suggestions on what I could do in the future when reading the signs to be sure I was picking up the right stuff since I thought that's what I had done, and unfortunately he didn't have any suggestions. It sounds like the problem is that if this deal really only works on the 2-pks the little red sign should specifically state that, which mine didn't. Anyway, he took my information and said somebody would call me back. He also confirmed the policy in place that if you use an RR from one offer towards another of the same offer, the new RR won't print and there's nothing they can do about that. Everybody has been so nice and tried to be very helpful during this whole snafuu that although I'm a little aggravated and will be leery of these deals in the future, I can't be overly upset about it.

luckymama - My stores are down in Bridgeville & Georgetown. I love living down here, but am insanely jealous of all the extra shopping choices you get up there!
