Walgreens - P&G RR Scenarios ONLY 5/4 - 5/10

I was counting on there being plenty of the crest pro-health for the P&G deal, mostly for a freebie filler type thing but no more. A new Wags opened yesterday much closer to my house (YAY!!) and they only had three of the toothpaste we are all looking for. Looked like plenty Covergirl product. I knew it was likely I wouldn't be able to get nine at a time but I thought I would see more than that.

The new Wags is nice but the only manager I've ever had a problem with is over this new store (boo). She was really nice to me when she saw me today but I don't think realized exactly who I was or made the crazy coupon lady connection.

Here's my scenario...I only have $2 in RR to start with and I really don't want to try and get lots of TP b/c I am almost certain I will run into trouble.

4 Crest $10.00
2 Cover Girl $3.29, $1.65
2 Cascade $5.00
1 Charmin wipes $1.99
Total: $21.93

Cpns:
(2) $1/1 Crest
(1) $1/2 Crest
(2) $3/2 ESC crest
(1) $2.50/2 CG
(1) $1/1 Cascade
(1) .50/1 Cascade
(1) $1/1 Charmin
$2 RR

Total OOP: $5.93 plus tax, get back $20 RR (which will go towards diapers!)


Will I need a filler, or does the ESC ring up as one coupon since it takes off total amount instead of separate amts?

Wag coupons don't count when counting coupons and items. The rule is no more than one manufacturers coupon per item. RR are manufacturers coupons.

I don't understand about the Gilette and Venus razors... I am looking at the ad right now and it is on the same page that says " Buy 3 or more products on "these" pages and get RR at checkout." Well if that is true, why are people saying they will buy 1 razor and get 6$ in RR's?

I think I understand the confusion...There are 2 different Venus razor deals.

One is with the Venus disposables (on page 29) that is with the P&G 9 items get $20RR and another one is with the Venus Embrace razor (on page 26) that when you purchase you will get a $6RR. There will be a $4/1 coupon that comes out for the Venus Embrace tomorrow, so you will only pay $5.99 OOP & get a $6RR.

Make sure to look at the expiration dates on the Crest Pro Health. Tonight I was at my Walgreens to scout out the toothpaste and was surprised that one whole shelf had expired in March and the others were only good through November. Since this toothpaste has special active ingredients it's good to check. I still have some of this from last summer's Kmart/P&G deal that are good through 2010 which is why I was surprised to see the dates on the ones at Walgreens.

My store had Secret/Gillette clinical deodorant on clearance for 2.xx. There is a 2 mfq in 5/4 P&G. If you can find 9 of these that would make for a VERY LOW OOP P&G 20RR. Good luck!!

Beep Beep Beep Beep ......

The foundation coupon is always a "beeper" and I also bought a zantac in each transaction and that beeped too. Then she adjusted it down to 3.99. I also used the beauty in bloom coupon on my Crest Pro transaction for the free toothbrush and that beeped too.

The Venus Embrace deal seems to be regional. It wasn't in my weekly ad (Delaware), and when I asked the cashier to price-check the razor, it came up at $12.49. :frown:

I have the fusion razor here..$9.99-$2 mfc=$7.99 gives $6 RR which rolls nicely with the P&G deal! But no venus...
