Does anyone know for a fact that an IVC for $3/2 will apply a prorated discount when purchasing an odd number? For example, if 9 units are bought. Would you get 9 x ($1.50) or 4 x ($3) applied?

HELP! I'm a newbie that is in a town (small) that hardly HAS coupons. No doubling or tripling EVER. (2 stores double if under 70 cents..advertise this by word of mouth!).
How/where do you all get so many coupons of the same thing? I'd love to purchase some..is there somewhere to do that? Did I miss it?
I can't trade because there aren't enough in our tiny Sunday Paper that y'all would want!
We don't have a CVS Pharmacy...but we do have a WALGREENS...and I want to play too!

I live in a small town just like you. However, even though I live in NE Indiana I have access to the Detroit Free Press. So that is what I get. It is also cheaper thatn my local paper. I could alos get teh Chicago paper but it would cost me $2.50! I usually buy 3-5 depending on the coupons that will be in the paper. Also, I go to the recycle center and if I see coupons right there on top I will snag tose too. Sometimes I get lucky sometimes I don't. I wish I had enough nerve to dumpster dive! I am way too scared to do that. :frown:

I'm also in AR, in the Hot Springs area. I have found that the Demozette papers you buy from a store or paper box in the smaller towns may not always have all the inserts, but the larger towns usually do. If there's really good coupons in the paper and we have the extra money that week, I will buy 10+ papers in Hot Springs for the coupons.

Then there's always the trade board and ebay too. *G*

I was too tired and ticked to push what they would have done b/c the system would have automatically done it off all - ??? PITA I just know I WON"T be hitting those stores for this sale - I don't seem to have ANY of the coupons for this anyhow so I might be out of luck anyhoot...

I grabbed 10 softsoaps - we love this kind! (did not clear the shelf either - which was a surprise) It was not ringing up at the 2.99, so no overage - but free softsoap is kewl in my book. Well, the cashier rung it all up, took all my q's, and almost finished the transaction, then she realized that it took of 20.00 for the last softsoap q. She voided it and callled the manager. He came over and said no way on all the soap and q's. He said I could do them in separate transactions, but the most he would let me get in one transaction would be 2 - 1 for each coupon. I asked - wouldn't it just be easier to do it all in one transaction instead of doing them all separate? He said "the limits are there for a reason..." I just shrugged and was like "okay..." So I said just give me 2 soaps and my other stuff... The stupid thing was that it still took off 4.00 for each soap because she used both q's in one transaction. *shrug* I didn't bother to try any other stores - tired baby & annoyed 11 yr. old with me - figured I'd better not push it! He also refused to let me cut out more coupons, claiming it was limit 1 per transaction. At least I know where not to shop now!

holy carp, you guys sure have driven up the price of the crest coupons on Ebay...20 are selling for around $1 each my time the auction is done....*shakes head*
I am so glad I happened to buy a lot of these earlier since I was stockpiling toothpaste at the time. Hopefully I'll be able to get my nine before the other couponer who wipes shelves at my store does.

I have 23 coupons right now for the crest deal and I know I will be lucky to find that many at my store but im hopeing it will be fine since they get a truck the day im going. Anyway I have 23 coupons so I need to do two orders of 9 each and one order of 5 in order to make $50 in RR just on crest. Will the $3/2 work if you buy a odd number like 9? Or do I have to buy 10 each time and 6 the second time? Im hopeing it just takes off $3/2 four times and then $1.50/1 the last time. Does anybody know or am I going to have to try and find 3 more coupons? Thanks :)
