Walgreens - HOT Suave RR deal is even better

well that is starting to blow our theory.....back to the drawing board

My first transaction had 4 of the same shampoo (actually I had 3 blue & 1 coconut but the cashier rang up 4 of the same shampoos) and only got $2RR.

I tried again later at different Walgreens with 3 different kinds - 2 blue, 1 orange, 1 coconut and got $6RR. This store has sale 2/$3.

I went back to the 1st Walgreens but didn't want to buy because of higher price $1.89 each (no sale 2/$3). If your store don't have 2/$3 sale you should buy at least 2 kinds with different price to generate $6RR for 4 items.

My sister did 2 transactions back to back at the store has sale 2/$3- she got $6RR in 1st transaction with 2-3 different kinds of shampoos, but she got only $2RR in 2nd transaction with only 4 blue shampoos.

I just went and got 4 different shampoos/conditioners - worked like a charm and spit out my $6 RR.

I ran this transaction 6 times and made a total of $9.26 in overage!! Awesome. Thanks OP.

I made sure that in each case, I chose different colors. In two cases, I had 2 orange--but one was shampoo and one was conditioner.

I am a little confused whether all the Suaves were on sale 2/$3 or just some. The only ones that were marked were the orange kinds.

My receipts rang up in two different ways:

I can understand the second way--and this happened only twice so must be attributable to the two cases where I had the orange shampoo and conditioner together.
But I don't understand the first way: What is 1.09? :shrug7:

Note: the computer is taking 50% off the lowest number in all cases--right?

thanks OP. worked beautifully for me. got 1 orange shampoo 1 orange conditioner, 1 blue shampoo and 1 blue conditioner. Out came my $6 RR

I did this today. I purchased Sauve shampoo and conditioner. They were priced 1.89. You only need to buy 4 to get 6.00 rr back!!!!

I'm thoroughly confused now, but going to give it a go purchasing different varieties. For use on the dog, and my homemade cleaner.
