Default Walgreens in Edina

I went to the Walgreens on York tonight and I'm really beginning to wonder if I'm organizing my coupons wrong. I have a big binder that I keep them in and I have a small organizer that I have marked names of stores on that I carry with me. Tonight at Walgreens I saw a few things that were clearanced that I knew I had coupons for at home! I was so mad at myself!

The jergens natural glow face lotion in the darker tone...was fifty percent off which was 3. something... but I have coupons for 2.00 off at home.

The mister clean wipes are on clearance for 1.79. This one I did notice last week and went back and used my coupons for those.

They had one scent of airwick decospheres on clearance...I think it was the orange scent. They were running low on those but there were a few left this evening. Have a coupon at home for that too

also the loreal vive pro shampoo but only the kind for medium to long curly hair...it was priced at two something on clearance. I did have a dollar off coupon for that but I just bought six bottles of shampoo a couple weeks ago lol

also several gillette fusion shaving gels...or aftershave gels? I'm not sure...

I don't know if this info is going to be useful to anyone but I thought I'd let you know in case anyone is in the area.

It's always a big toss-up as to carry all coupons everywhere which is a huge hassle or to carry the ones you need most.
I've never found a happy middle ground. Although if I lived in a 1 level house with an attached garage to access my car more easily I have ideas as to what I'd do.

It's a pain just starting out, OP. I've been doing this for about a year and I still get aggravated and change how I organize my Qs. I love the binder, but that's just too much hassle for me and takes too long for me to deal with on a regular basis. I just keep all of my Qs in little plastic cd totes (with snap on lids/handles) and file them alphabetically with large index card dividers. I have one for food and one for non-food. I also keep those little cheap-o photo albums (find them on clearance all the time!) - 1 for each store I shop regularly and just put my Qs in there when I see the previews- add my shopping/scenario lists to that and I'm off! I do take my Q totes in the car whenever I'm going to be stopping at multiple stores, just in case I find something on clearance that I want. No running back home for Qs with gas at $4 a gallon, right? Point is, it will get easier- you will change how you organize many times. Just find something that's right for you.

Thanks for the advice! I'm thinking about trying to stick with what I do, but keeping the binder in the car while I go out just in case I see something...then I just have to run out to the car! Cause you know, with the kids we always need just one more thing to carry right? lol Why were we only born with two arms?

Thanks for sharing. I just can't do the large bulky folder anymore.
