There is a cat spend $15 get $5 rr (Hellmans mayo, pb that's all I can remember) but from what I can see for coupon matchups it is not very promising. I am wondering if anyone here can confirm if Walgreens cat deals work presale price.
I don't think the cats work pre-sale price. Apparently when you are required to spend a certain amount of time the cat machine makes sure you spend that amount. I remember reading a post about someone who didn't get a RR because one of the items rang lower than what shelf tag said by cents!
I did the deal yesterday, bought 3 Skippy 3/$5 and 2 frozen dinner bags at $5.99 each, cat didn't come out, manager said it was due to me using a coupon ($2.50), he gave me a GC for $5 instead.
I bought three bags of Bertolli for 5.99 each and used two $2.50 coupons and one $1.25 coupon. I also bought two bags of Starburst and used the ES coupon for $1/2 . I did not get the $5 RR for buying $15 worth. I used two $5 RRs from the Planters Nuts to buy the items. I called the catalina number and he checked and said that the Bertolli products were not registered to produce an RR. I said that I don't understand that because it is advertised in the Walgreens ad! Now I am wondering if it is because I had less than $15 after my coupons. But I didn't think that using manuf. coupons were supposed to impact the RR. The man from the catalina department is supposed to check it out and call me back. Any ideas?

That is the only reason it did not work...manufacture coupons have no effect
I didn't get mine either yesterday. The manager did his same old song and dance routine, its because of the coupons. I'm sick of Walgreens.
It didn't work for me either. I tried 2 Bertolli and 2 Ragu. It didn't work using coupons, but it also didn't work not using coupons. My local Walgreens said the same thing...it won't work with coupons...only for them to keep their mouth shut when it didn't work while not using any coupons!
I had the same problem yesterday. I called today and the CS rep at Catalina said that the bertolli UPC's were not programmed in the promo. She looked up the ad online and saw that my receipt total was over $15 for the items listed in the ad but could not explain why the Bertolli upc's weren't listed. She said she would talk to the programmers and if I did not hear back from her, my coupon would be in the mail. She warned me that Walgreens coupons can take up to 6 weeks.
So, the Bertolli's seem to be the problem.
I also bought the green tea and the Ragu.
