All this is happening at least a Pavilions as I received one today - keep an eye out!

There is a promotion running on the Starbucks coffee at Vons: Buy (2) Starbucks Coffee Packages, Get $5 Starbucks egift card catalina. Its working on via and regular packages:

    Buy (2) Starbucks Coffee $7.49 ea ( wyb 8 )
    use $1.50/1 Starbucks Coffee, exp. 10/31/11 (SS 09/11/11 #2)
Pay: $11.98, Get $5 Starbucks e-gift card (promotion runs until 10/2)
    = $3.49 ea

a cat will print with a code and you go to www.starbucks.com/coffeevariety and enter the code and you will be sent an email and then either given the choice to print a $5 Q or load to your starbucks card. Worth it!
No Expired Qs. IP s are ok Gift cards to target, RA, CVS are good as are BTFE MyCokeRewards Codes help too!

Did Vons change their coupon policy lately, or am I simply seeing
    something that isn't really there?

In one of the Smart Source coupon inserts in today's L.A. Times, there
are Vons ads for Alexia Sweet Potato Fries, Tide Stain Boost, etc. .
The ads list the Vons price before and after the coupon, but does not
show the coupon being doubled, like they used to. They didn't stop
doubling did they? I thought it weird they wouldn't show the full
    doubled-coupon price in their ad...

No idea why they are not advertising doubling, maybe they just don't want to. HOWEVER Pavilions doubled today when I went here is my transaction: (all prices after savings WYB 8 and before MQ)

1 Pepsi max with blinkie that doubled $.99
4 Lipton green teas $2.36 ($1/4 IP - no double)
    1 Clorox 2 $4.59 ($1.50 IP - no double)
    1 Clorox bleach $1.99 ($.25 that doubled to $.50)
1 Mission Artisan Tortillas $.49 ($1/1 found near product)
1 Open Nature Ice Cream $4.99 (FREE with mailed Q from FB)

    after tax and CRV $6.65

    mlitt, thanks for the reply.
I reread the Vons coupon policy on their web site, and based on that plus
their advertising in the Smart Source booklet, there are apparently some
Vons stores in California that no longer double coupons, I just don't know
    where those stores are.

I feel sorry for whoever lives near one...

is this a recent change? I know my local vons doubles my coupons up to 1.00 I hope it will never change...
