Vons Accepts Walgreen's RR

I tried to post this yesterday from my iPhone but I guess it didn't go through :shrug7:anyways onto the news....

In the new coupon policy at Vons it clearly states that they accept ALL manufacturer coupons/catalinas even if they have store logos on them. ( rule #'s 8 and 9) Several people over at SD have been reporting that they were able to successfully use RR's WITHOUT any beeps! Some asked ahead of time and they were told that as long as it scans fine then there is no problem. Make sure you print out their policy just in case you run into any problem. For those of you which are limited to how many "like" coupons you can use, they will probably also limit how many of these you can use .

This is great news! I had stopped shopping at Walgreens because I didn't like having to always go back and use my RR's before they expired but now I don't need to worry. I have about $40 in RR's to burn with the great neutrogena MM that's been going on, so I'll definitely make good use of these. Free meat and produce anyone?

Wonder if Safeway and Genaurdi's who are owned by the same company also changed their policy again? :) Would be nice!

The Vons I go to is very coupon friendly, but on Sunday I didn't get my favorite cashier -- got a supervisor who usually puts everything through, though (as long as it's legit, of course). I used my $5 Wags RR and the register accepted it just fine. But the supervisor looked at it and said, "This is for Walgreen's," and backed it out.

I hadn't printed out the new policy, the lines were long and I had people on their way over to the house, so I didn't argue with him (I can always use it at Walgreen's, anyway). But I will print it out now and be prepared the next time.

(By the way, I used three "like" coupons at this Vons -- Limonite and Hamner in Mira Loma -- on Sunday and he didn't blink an eye. That's why I go to this Vons and not the one in Riverside Plaza, where they are still spouting the "limit two" even on sales that require the purchase of more than two items to get the sale price.)

Oooo your lucky our Genaurdi's only lets you double the first coupon!
However they also DID change their policy online to accept catalinas and so Wahoo! I printed out the coupon policy:) Thankyou soooo much:)

For those of you in the Anaheim area HEADS UP to the unknowledgable cashier and supervisor at the Lincoln Harbor location. Printed out my policy and still would not even look at it. Had to call CS and contact store mgr about this problem. His name is Danny (curly haired short hispanic)

Also while waiting on him to say "no" I read on the register if they dont ask you to donate to some organization(sorry forgot which one it is) theyre supposed to give u a bottle of cola ....

oops: I meant this at Albertsons not Vons I never tried at Vons.

I never use rr from Walgreens but I was able to use $ oynso from Stater brother at my store. I think my store accept catalina printed coupons as long as it said manufacture coupons.

Vons changed their policy, again! This time they specify that they only accept catalinas for a SPECIFIC item not just any manufacturer coupon :sad:. So if you get like $1 off a box of ice cream then they accept those but I don't think they'll accept RR's anymore. Congrats to those who are able to still use them.

so we can use them or we can't...it was such a short time between original post and last that i'm confused...they changed there coupon policy that quickly??/:shrug7:
