There is also a $1/1 Farmer John bacon on Shortcuts. Use this in conjunction with the $2/1 to get bacon for $0.49!!

I also read over at SD that the Rolaids are $1.49 for the small package. If this is the case use $4/2 from the 6/06 inserts to get $1 overage!!

Forgot to add that Vons updated their coupon policy. Check it out here. I'm glad about #'s 8, 9, and that they took out the rule about not allowing a coupon to exceed 50% of the item's value. But I'm not too pleased with #'s 4, and 5. What do you guys think?

Thanks for sharing Vons updated coupon policy with us grogereva! Very good info to know and totally worth printing a copy of to have on hand if/when a cashier won't accept certain coupons.

As for #'s 8 & 9... way cool!

#'s 4 & 5... not too thrilled as these rules have always been a discretionary part of their policies and so it is going to still leave us wide open to how the cashiers choose to interpret it.


I am also curious to know what the "like" coupon limits are since it is not stated in the revised policy at all. Probably still up to the individual stores to enforce a limit of "like" coupons or not. Eh! :shrug7:

Had quite the ordeal buying my 8 items at Vons. First time the cashier rang me up I was expectiing overage from the Rolaids but I owed over $3 and no eq's came off for the Nut Clusters.
I had the cashier void and re-ring me- people behing me were yicked but cashier was SOOOO sweet! He rerang me and my total was more! I paid and on my receipt noticed none of the sale prices when you buy 8 rang up! I bought 2 BBQ sauces, 6 rolaids, 1 Nut clustrers. Showed cashier and he called the manager on the phone and just opened the cash and paid me the $5 I should have had in overage.

As for the promo price not ringing up, I'm not sure if Rolaids are part of the WYB 8 deal just that you could get possible overage from the coupon. (Sorry for not clearing that up in my previous post.) My store is starting to get more picky about that and they are reducing the amount of the Q's to match the actual price. I had always been able to get overage until now :sad:. It could be their new policy. It does say that coupons cannot exceed item value.

Found another deal. Thanks to Maygan over at SD

When you buy 1/2 gallon of Smart Balance Milk ( she bought Fat Free with Vitamin E & Omega-3 variety) you will get 2 catalinas. One is for $2/2 and the other is for a free 1/2 gallon of Smart Balance milk! Use the free catalina to get another one and keep rolling the deal as long as you like! There is a coupon for this in the 5/23 RP but I'm not sure about the value. There might also be a $2/1 in the 6/13 RP but it may be regional. This cat will also reportedly print when you buy the Smart Balance butter.
I checked the online prices and the milk is $4.39 while the butter is $3.29.

Has anybody seen tags or received a cat for this deal to find out how long it lasts? Or can anyone confirm that this is working at Vons? Not sure if this deal is regional, please let us know.

There was a tag next to the rolaids (specifically the 36 count chewable ones) so at the least they should have been free... and really should have been a $1.02MM... I have had issues with prices ringing up correctly at this Vons before so I was not all too surprised but they fixed it and thats the important thing! So if anyone has 4 rolaids Q I would suspect you could use 4, buy 8 chewable 36 ct rolaids and get $4.18 in overage...

OH la la So I did use my Walgreens RRs at Vons 2 of em. Make sure to bring the policy with you. Both stores took a double take on me using RRs. 1st it looked like she was gonna have a hissy fit at the register. 2nd nice attitude The 1st store is a coupon hating. I'll be looking for the Rolaids deal TY for the HU. The Odwalla Juice deal is by far the bst price Ive seen for any juices. 99c AC. Bars are still Free AC.

Can someone enlighten me what ppl were using the O Organics Q AND Mom to Mom Qs for. My stores had the Qs and I saw a lot of ya'll getting freebies a while back ago. TY
