Thanks for typing that up GrandmaJoanne! My store has a whole bunch of these so I grabbed about 5 of them. I still have not found the elusive Shrek booklet though. I'll be going again today to get more juice and other freebies, so I'll keep my eyes open.

The only coupon that I really like is the St. Ives $1. That makes the travel size free at Target. They're a pretty good size, too.

Just got back from Vons. I did the Buy 4 save $4 on the cereal and granola bars.A few things to note:

I found the Motrin PM 20 ct on introductory price for $2.99 so free after the $3 MQ (can't remember the insert).

There is also an ACE bandage on clearance for $2.19 if you use the $1 eQ from the Vons website together with the $1 IP from coupons.com then you only pay $0.19

I used 2 $1/2 coupons from 4/11 RedPlum insert
Total came to $2 and i got back the $3 catalina

second trip:

1 cocoa krispies 16.5 oz, $2.50
1 froot loops 12.2 oz, $2.50
less buy 4, save $4 sale
total was $5
I used 2 $1/2 printable coupons (can get them both at redplum.com and also at kelloggs website here: Kellogg Company - Coupons)
I used the $3 catalina from the first trip and total was FREE

third trip:

no problem. its definitely worth the trip. and this deal is still perfect to do even if you have a vons that are coupon sticklers and enforce the only 2 like coupons rule

It'd been a long time since I'd been confronted with the "two like" limit but I was out of town yesterday and got hit with it from an unfamiliar checker. Here's an e-mail I sent to customer relations today:
I was told by a checker that it's VONS (Safeway) policy to only accept two "like" manufacturers coupons. How does that jive with the small lettering on the back page of your weekly circular that states "limit one coupon per purchased item?" You do go on to state, "we reserve the right to limit quantities for retail sales." Surely, when you advertise 10/10 or buy 3,4,5 of the same item to get the sales price, you aren’t limiting a retail sale to two like items? Non- doubled coupons have always been accepted at face value. Please clarify this issue. Thanks, Patrick
