Not sure if it's a "buy 4" or "buy 4 or more deal." Sometimes you need to buy in multiples, in this instance 4, to recieve the sale price. Here's the deal I did today:
(4) Windex @ 1.99 less (4) 1.00/1 MQ
(4) Kelloggs Corn Flakes @ 1.00 less (2) 1.00/2 MQ
(1) Dial hand soap @ .99 less (1) .35 x 2 MQ
Used 6.00 in CATS and the total was: $1.00 plus it generated $7.00 in CATS ( 2.00 + 2.00 Windex, 3.00 Kelloggs) Time to :hectic1:

Yeah I think the cereal must be bought in increments of 4 to get the $1 price. There are also several scenarios floating around the Safeway affiliate store forums that blend in using Nature Valley Granola bars & nut clusters (also part of this cereal promo), plus coupons & eq's to make money or get them for free!

I've been reading online that the cereal rings up with the discount already taken off. Can anyone confirm this? I know with the Phildadelphia minis 2 weeks ago they were ringing up with the discount already taken off. The same might be true for the cereal. :shrug7:Can anyone who's already done the deal let us know? TIA



I just got back from Vons and did the cereal deal I purchased 4 Kellogg's cereals and 8 Quaker granola bars. I did notice on my receipt that they rang up with the $1 already discounted. I don't know if it is after the intial 4 items that everything else rings up with the discount or if all items do. :shrug7: (I purchased in increments of 4 only because all my coupons were for $1/2) But there was no mention on my receipt about a $4 discount.
