What is the coupon policy for Vons?

All Manufacturer's coupons will be accepted subject to the terms on the
coupon with the following exceptions:

1. All coupons will be redeemed at face value. Only one manufacturer's coupon will be accepted per item. Manufacturers' coupons duplicated in any form will not be accepted.
2. Liquor, tobacco, fresh fluid milk products, competitors' manufacturer, in-store demo and free coupons including "buy one, get one free; or free groceries with a specified purchase) will be redeemed at face value.
3. Limited to sales in retail quantities only.
4. Any requests to redeem competitor coupons are left to the discretion of the store management.
5. Applicable sales tax will be charged on all manufacturers' coupons.

Von's Double Coupon Policy
As of 4/26/07, Vons is doubling up to $1.00. Only the 1st like coupon will be doubled. There is no expiration to this policy as of today.

Manufacturer Coupons
Manufacturer coupons will only be honored for the actual item on the coupon (and not for another item from the same manufacturer). In the past, manufacturer coupons could be substituted for another product from the same manufacturer. Now the item purchased must be the exact item on the coupon.

This is interesting. Even though one of their rules is: "Only the 1st like coupon will be doubled," my Vons doubles multiples for me. In other words, if I buy two products and hand over two identical coupons, they double both of them. I've never tried it with more than two, though.

Mine doesn't. The cashier scans them all, but the register will only double the one.

Good you can get two of them doubled!

I sure miss the days when I could go to both Vons and Ralphs with 3 like coupons and they would double all 3.:frown:

Well, I already posted on another thread, but I'll post it here too. I went to Vons today for the first time and it wasn't a good trip. I got my Vons card and when I asked if they doubled coupons she said they do not.
Oh well.
I just will not shop there.

Horror Story

Last night I went to Vons with a freind of mine and we got all the items we had coupons for that would cost us little out of pocket or be free. When the cashier began to ring up my purchases one of the coupons beeped because is one of the ones that have the three barcodes. The supervisior immediately came over to see what was going on. She's like a hawk when it comes to coupon shoppers. When she noticed that my items and my friend's items were the same she refused to allow the cashier to rign my friend's purchase becasue she said that she was trying to prevent people from going from Vons to Vons using coupons and that in any case the coupon policy was that you can only use one coupon per card. I of couse was furious because that is not true and I let her know that she was wrong. She asked if we lived in separate recidences and we said yes so she demanded proof of residence. I couln't belive what my ears were hearing. In the end she refused the service to my friend and so we left the items on the belt. This particular supervisor had been extremely rude to me in prior occasions and I just let it ride. Not this time she went too far. I called corporate and am now waiting on a response from the Distric Manager. He nees to call me to follow up and stop this woman from harassing coupon shoppers like myself.

I have the Same Story ,my firend and i went to the Tustin Vons!
we both hadnt been there n a month ? she nded butter i said let stop here VONs !get a few free-bies & butter ! the Mgr Adrain ,tld us he had the right to refuse us ! i just went along with him "i said your right.
i guess he thought we were from th same hse hld ?NEVER the less that
one of the reason i avoid Vons ,i did call the C.S ,also call the Store Director ...they dont understand the Win/Win "concept bus...

i actually had an ok esp last nite. i went for the 4/6.00 gm cereal. i didnt realize u had to havea coupon, i dont normally shop there. so when i looked at my recpt, it showed 2/5.00.......when it should have been way less! i so i asked the manager and he went n looked to see if it neede a coupon, sure nuff! so he had hte cashier ring me up for 2 of the coupons.

I was at the Diamond Bar Vons today and attempted to use two printables and was denied by the cashier. Who insisted printables were not allowed.. so I ask her to remove the two items from my bags. At that point she spent several minutes studying my remaining coupons...service at its finest..NO MORE vons for me
