My Vons will never let me use $3 ip on the 1.50 .They are very uncoupon friendly.The store is real close to me but I kind an avoid this store but the joint juice is tempting me to go visit them.

Yes, the 5/7 JJ ALWAYS beeps. It requires manager override (on the cashier side it says "value exceeded" or something like that). In my experience, if you just stand there and don't say anything, they'll figure it out. They'll count your bottles, call a manager, verify that it's for the right thing, and get it pushed through. If they do everything and then try to tell you you can't use it, suggest that it might need a manager override, but I only do that after they've worked on it themselves for a bit (without any input from me).

This is why I always give the 5/7 FIRST. If they scan all your other coupons with no beeps, then scan the 5/7 and it beeps, they are more likely to reject it - they decide that it's beeping because you can't use the 10 and the 5/7 together (when in fact that's not true). If you give it first, (I literally only hand them that one, then I hand them the rest of the stack) then they know that it's not any combination of coupons you're giving them that's causing it to beep, it's just that the coupon is coded weirdly. I've also found that it actually helps to check out with managers so that no one has to go find the "override card". Makes people behind you less angry and impatient.

My Vons ad is showing the Smithfield Bacon 16oz as 2/$6. Still free with the $3 IPs.

Just an update. It seems like the $5/7 Joint Juice is no longer printing, but the $10 CAT still is, at least at Vons. How sad the deal appears to be over.

Kleenex is supposedly still going, at least through today.

Just to comment on my earlier post. I personally haven't tried the deal any more to check whether or not the $5/7 cat is printing. If you try it and get the $5/7 cat, could you please post? Thanks.

FYI I did the Kleenex deal today and still got the $3 cat (even though this deal was supposed to end on 10/3/09). However, I did not get a new coupon (before I got either a $1/4 or a 75c/3). Maybe this will continue until the end of the ad on Tuesday.

I didn't know that it ends yesterday I did this today and still got $3 oyno. so lets keeps our fingers crossed that it will till the end of the ad or the month...........?
