Thanks, VCASARES. For those of you who like ice cream there's a deal buy 4 participating ice cream get 5.00 OYNO (details listed below). My future sister-in-law:) did the deal today. Bought 1 Eskimo pie Vanilla With Dark Chocolate, 1 Eskimo pie crunch, & 2 Nestle Vanilla Fudge ice cream cones. Received her 5.00 OYNO and a 5.00/4 OYNO of participating ice cream purchase (she 1st mentioned it was 4.00, so even better 5.00). She was so happy to get 10.00 off her next ice cream trip.Wondering if the cat will be random. Going later to try. Will purchase what she did on my 1st run. Have a $ OYNO cat I can roll, but if you don't here's what 2 deals will look like assuming the 5.00/4 ice cream prints-
1st deal: What Jill purchased . Total 12.00 (3.00x4=12) - 2.00 (1.00/1 coupons in 4/26 S) = 10.00 OOP (cross your fingers for the 5.00/5 ice cream cat). If both cats print you can repeat and your 2nd total will be 0 or you can get other items in deal, but they are more expensive (thanks for the coupons, Joanne I can get the Haagen Dazs:)). Worst scenario 1 run - 4 ice creams for 10.00 and 5.00 OYNO-still not bad:)

I think it would be worth asking your store about. After all, Safeway is the parent company and most of their coupon mailers contain the words Safeway or one of their other line of stores names on them. Plus, a lot of Vons products have Safeway labels on them. I say try it. :)

There are two $1/1 Johnsonville Breakfast sausage coupons in the 4/5 SS. One is for links and the other is for patties. Vons.com lists the regular price as $4.29, BOGO. So the math would be $4.29-1.00-1.00= $2.29 for two 12oz packages of sausage. That works out to $1.53/lb, which is a pretty good price for breakfast sausage!

Also, I wanted to mention that if you go to the coupon page at Vons.com, there is a coupon for a FREE 1 lb container of strawberries! You have to spend $10 in the produce department to use the coupon. Nice deal!

Okay, did the ice cream deal tonight, most were 2/7 so got 2 dibs and 2 hagen daz. After the two 1/2 Qs it was $12 and I'm hoping, hoping to get 10 back because in my house that's a SPLURGE:) The 5 ONYO printed no problem but the other is just the Cat anouncement of the deal so unless that was a regional Cat, your SIL might be misreading her's. Hope not !!!

Please know that you cannot use 2 coupons on BOGO items... only 1 coupon. Stated in small print on bottom of all VONS adds "Manufacturers' coupons may be used on purchased iteams only - not on free items." Just FYI... still a good deal with one coupon though!!
