That they had never required it to be after MF Q's before and that it did not state that on the $10/$50 Q. My total after club card and rain check was $55.00 so it qualified period.
I think she was mad because I had a rain check for 1 case (12 boxes of cereal) @ $3.00 each reg. $4.99 and I had a Q for $1 off each box of cereal.
She told me they don't take 12 Q's for the same product.
I told her that the manager was aware that I had the Q's when I asked him to special order the case.
So in the end I got my way.
I saved $1.99x12 with the rain check
$1.00x12 with the MF Q's
and $10/$50
plus I had another Q for my tomatoes for $1.00
I ended up spending about $32.00 for $78.00 worth of product

Sorry so late to reply...
I gave my $10/$50 coupon to the cashier before taking manu coups out of my purse...she gave me no trouble. So glad because I did this on Wednesday and intended to combine with the Chill out promo but at my store (San Marcos) they were hardly any of the tags. In the past, the catalinas haven't printed out on the first day of the promo and if the item isn't tagged (even if you know it is part of promo based on the list or internet), I don't have a leg to stand on. So, to make a long story longer, I skipped the purchase of frozen items and barely reached $50 before manu coupons.

My vons is giving the discount if the total is $50 before vons club. I had no idea - I was checking out and they said OH wait use your coupon - grabbed an ad and rang me out. I spent $16 OOP on a $80 order

the big question is: Can you use the 10/50 Q BEFORE the Manufacturer Q?

If so, use the free cascade Q from Right at home mailer, free Dr. Pepper Q from Cosmo Feb. issue, Free Ceasar Dog food Q from home mailer to get to $50 and then bring it down with Manufacturer Q for a lower OOP...
How do you get the Right at Home mailer? I am signed up for their site but have never received any mail at home.:shrug7:

had a horrible experience at Pavillions in Marina Del Rey. Got a whole order for $50 post Vons Card and gave her the $10 coupon and then MFC, and she REFUSED to take the MFC. Huge line behind me but she insisted on voiding the $10 coupon. I asked to speak to a manager and she did and the manager said no. I was so angry. I told them I would take my business elsewhere and asked for my coupons back and left my whole order sitting in a shopping cart.
Headed to Vons in Santa Monica tonight for hopefully a better outcome.

My Vons was out of the butter, cereal and paper towels. I asked for a rain check and the cashier said the rain check was only good til the 3rd! What if I go in on the 3rd and they are still out?

A rain check is good till they have it in stock and you redeem it.
I have never seen a rain check from any store that had a use by date.
I think CA has a law about rain checks and expiration dates.
I will look for it

I cant remember exactly but Longs is a 30 or 60 day limit? Albertson's has a use by date as well, I think that one is 60 days also. My Von's was not writing rainchecks for the 99 cent Mini Wheats/Raisin Bran. I didn't feel like arguing.

Ralphs rainchecks are 60 days.
Albertsons are 30 days.
Vons and CVS are forever.
