Tyson Chicken Strips 1/7-1/13

I just looked at the weekly ad online and I have a question about a possible deal. It says that Tyson Grilled Chicken Breast Strips are BOGO, with a savings of $3.99. I was wondering if the following deal will work on these (mostly whether or not you can use 2 q's on a BOGO, and also whether 2 like q's will double or not)

Situation 1: both q's double
3.99
+3.99
---------
7.98
-3.99 BOGO
-.55 manu q 11/4 S1
-.45 (q doubled)
-.55 manu q 11/4 S1
-.45 q doubled
----------------
1.99 for 2 packages = $1 each

Situation 2: only one doubles
7.98

---------
2.44 for 2 packages = 1.22 each

Please let me know which of these situations (if any) you think might work. TIA.

I have not had any success at Vons using two coupons on a B1G1 deal, unless I was purchasing two items and getting two additional items free.

Vons' circular has very fine print that reads:

"On Buy One, Get One FREE ("BOGO") offers, customer must purchase the first item to receive the second item free. BOGO offers are not 1/2 price sales. If only a single item is purchased, the regular price applies. Manufacturers' coupons may be used on purchased items only - not on free items. Limit one coupon per purchased item."

So I think in either of your scenarios above, you are trying to use a coupon on a free item, and Vons won't let you do that. You're likely to end up with:

$7.98 - $3.99 = $3.99 - $0.55 MQ - $0.45 doubled = $2.99 for two packages, or $1.50 each. Which is still a pretty good deal.

i cant remember where i found them:shrug7:still looking..??
it would be about $2.00 for 5 of them..if u use the coupons!
