Q.. confused so 75 =1.00 off now at vons, what about other stores?

I just read about the article in the paper, where they said.. coupons like 75 cents, WILL get a discount of a 1.00 off..

thats good news!! ok, i just vented :P

The ? is .. do the other stores do this?
Albertsons, Ralphs?
(mainly i'm looking for so ca.. but good ? for all

Is 35 cents =35 cents or does it mean 70 cents in other stores?

ohh believe me, i'm still miffed about the dbling..
but trying to find the good! lol

Now Ralphs & Vons will have matching policies:

.25 = .50
.35 = .70
.40 = .80
.50 = $1.00
.60 = $1.00
.75 = $1.00
.80 = $1.00
$1.00 = $1.00
$1.50 = $1.50
$2.00 = $2.00
$3.00 = $3.00

If .50 or under, the coupon will double.
.51 - .99 = will double to cap out at $1.00 tops.
$1.00+ will be redeemed at face value only.

Albertsons, Food 4 Less, Target & Trader Joe's redeem coupons at face value only.

I don't know How's & Stater Bros. coupon policies.

Hows doubles upto $1. They accept 3 like coupons also. It is similar to the Ralph's old doubling policy.

So $1 coupon gets doubled to $2, $2 gets you $3 and so on....

Hows doesn't seem to have the product selection that the bigger chains have and I am not sure how the prices compare, but if they are doubling up to a $1.00, that will be something worth looking into. Hows is actually the closest to me, but I have never done my shopping there, just run in for something when I'm in a hurry or don't want to drive to the other stores.

How's reads everything and they don't double coupons that say DND so make sure you check your coupons before going.
