Vons is going the Ralphs way!

Hi there,

Bad news. I went by my Vons in Burbank and they had a sign taped to the customer service desk. Looks like they are doing the Ralph's coupon thing as of August 20. (Glad they gave us such a head start!)

Again, only doubling up to $1.00 and no double on $1.00's, et al.

I would just love to know what these pinheads are thinking. The economy is really tough now and every little bit helps.

Looks like I'm a Howe's shopper after the 20th.

Let me know what everyone is going to do... sigh.

guess I'll shop more at Costco and 99cent stores. 99.99% of the cashiers at Hows will not double a coupon that says DND, not subject to doubling and so on

UGH. I am pretty new to couponing but I hope this particular policy doesn't happen at my local store. It seems like everyone is getting stingy (has anyone else noticed that the coupons are getting to be for less and less off or for multiple items now?) I might just give up on the grocery couponing and just do Wags and shop at Fresh and Easy!

I just called my Vons and they confirmed the change will take place on the 20th.:frown:
They did tell me you can use as many Q's of the same kind as you want but only the first will double. So no more telling us you can only use 2 like Q's per order.
I guess I will be spending my Q's at Walmart and Staters:shrug7:

I left Ralph's after shopping there for almost 20 years!!
Now I have to leave Vons!!


I do feel lucky to live in an area that has a Stater Brothers, Costco, Sams Club, Walmart, Walgreens (many), CVS (tons), Albertsons, 99 cent store, Fresh and Easy ... need I say More?



I'm taking my money to the lowest bidder now!!
I will be shopping at any and all stores (except Vons and Ralphs, they are on my "KM:sb2:A" list) until someone steps up to the plate with constant generous deals and fair coupon policies.

Grocery stores are actually gonna compete with mass merchandise stores like Target and Walmart.I prefer not to shop at either both.The reason I don't shop at Target and Walmart that are both out of the way and they are way too busy.

Now it comes down to a few grocer like Albertsons,Stater brothers and new store like Sprouts just open in my area .It actually make my shopping easier that I don't have to chase for the deals anymore. Kind na sad but have to accept the fact.
