Goodbye Ralph's, HELLO Vons!

I'm going to start shopping at Vons now even though Ralph's is closer to my house. The customer service and the new coupon policy at Ralph's really has me peeved. I'm looking forward to learning from you veteran Vons shoppers!

P.S. Today I went to Vons for baby food hoping they had a decent deal on organic baby food. They didn't. I ended up getting 10 jars of Earth's Best (had a DND q for $1 off 10 - which Vons doubled ) and got a pack of Dannon DanActive smoothies, not on sale but had a $1 DND q which they ALSO doubled ! I was a happy camper

I am in the same boat. Ralph's is closest to me, but I find myself shopping mostly at Vons and Albertsons due to Ralphs ridiculous new coupon policy.

Sadly, I pretty much stopped shopping at Ralphs before their coupon policy changed due to their HORRIBLE customer service. It always seemed like their supervisors looked the worse (especially during the Union strifes) for wear and the cashiers always seemed like they were tense and in a bad mood. Because of this, I dreaded shopping at Ralphs and instead found console in Vons and Albertsons.

Shopping and price-wise, I tend to shop aisle-by-aisle at Vons regularly, and because of this, I often find MULTIPLE surprises in the form of unadvertised specials that come out either cheap or free. You just have to look a little bit. It will all work out in the end, just be patient.

what if each one of us picked 1 aisle each week and did just the deals for that aisle. Then post what you found. I could then move them all on to one post to make it easer to find. I bet we could find some killer deals then!
Anyone want to sign up for an aisle???? If so I will set up the thread for next week then just post the aisle you picked ex. cereal aisle, drink and candy, bath & body when your done post then I can add it to the main page. Team work thats what I'm talking about!

Count me in for the cereal aisle or the laundry aisle (or both if needed). It seems like I always need cereal because DH and kids eat cereal like there is no tomorrow and are brand loyal. Me, I am coupon loyal, so unless it is really cheap, you get what I buy that's on sale w/coupon. Laundry-wise, I just like to hoard the good stuff when I can find it on sale.

I need milk, so I will be off to the store here in a little while. I will post any finds when I get back.
