What to do with all these pears!

My mother used to can pears and she would add a marchino cherry in each pint jar.

Made them pretty and they tasted good.

We peeled and froze ours last year, used the hand crank apple peeler, corer, slicer, and froze with a bit of cinnamon.These made the best pear-cranberry pies.
