Don't worry it's not that hard. I think if the turkey neck is already cooked then you can skip that step and just put it in the boiling water with the greens. Your'e just using the meat to flavor the greens. I use bacon and do it similar to this recipe: Southern Style Holiday Greens - Allrecipes I don't even like greens or bacon but everyone I know likes them with bacon. Good luck!

What you want to do is put the meat into a pot and cover the meat with water, let this come to a boil. Clean your greens if you haven't done so already. It's not hard. Let the meat boil (rolling boil) when the water line has gone down cover it again with more water . Let the meat boil for about an 1/2 hour, then add your greens to the pot. Remember to take out the neck before you add the greens. You will add back the meat later.

The greens will cook down add a little oil to the greens about 1 tablespoon. add an onion for flavor. when it comes to a boil turn it down to med-low and let it cook for about 1/2 hour . Be careful with the meat(neck) it has small bones, you can take off the meat by hand if you prefer, depending if the neck is really meaty, if not put it back into the pot for the last 5 minutes, remember it has already cooled and then you can always remove it

I hope this helps. I'll be here for awhile online just holler.LOL
