    Gossip Disneylad tips. Got any?

Our family is headed to Disneyland in Southern CA on Friday the 18th of November. We will be doing Disneyland / CA adventure on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Saturday we are just going to play and drive around. We will be staying at the Hampton Inn because I have always had a great stay with them and I love the free breakfast.

If you have anything that you think we should add in and not forget to do or see please let me know . Do you have any good restaurants we should try?

Thank you all in advance for your help

Mrs. Knott's Fried Chicken! It's right outside Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park. KBF is not worth going into the park, but the outside has shopping and eateries.

If you have the 3 day park hopper tickets, see if that comes with the early admission one day (sometimes it does). If so, take advantage of it! It's great. 30 minutes before the park regularly opens, you get in and you can usually squeeze in 2-3 rides!

There is Medieval Times, a pirate dinner show, a wax museum, and some other fun attractions nearby. BUT- If you don't mind a 20-30 minute ride into LA, I totally recommend the La Brea Tar Pits. It's awesome and fun and there is a museum with lots of dino bones for the kids (and grown ups too!).

PM me, I have some entertainment book coupons for stuff in that area I can send you!

We had a year pass last year (spent like 20+ days) I would suggest doing CA Adventure on Sunday, the weekends are super busy at Disneyland, but not as bad at CA Adventure and they have some awesome new rides, like the new Little Mermaid Ride, Monsters Inc, and Bugs Life 3D is amazing, and don't forget to see World Of Color, make sure to get your fast pass right when CA Adventure opens on sunday because it sells out, and if you don't have a pass you wont be able to see the show, and its really worth it!

Drink water instead of buying expensive soft drinks. They have to give you free water upon request at the restaurants and soft drink fountains. Only the remote cart type vendors probably don't have it.

I second bringing water/food. There are lockers on main street that are very cheap to rent if you don't have stroller age kids. We usually bring a soft sided cooler and rent a locker. We bring water bottles, snacks, and lunch. DH usually wears cargo shorts and will put a 20 oz bottle in one of the side leg pockets. We fill it up at water fountains (there are water fountains everywhere!).

That being said, for some reason the churros at disneyland taste soo much better than other places. It's worth the $2.50.

The Long Beach Aquarium. This is a little pricy but it is worth it. My kids loved it last summer. Spent the whole day in there. They get to touch a lot of stuff and everything. If you go. Do not eat at Bubba Gumps acrossed the street. Very pricy and not very good.

If you like chili go to Charlies Chili. It is very reasonably priced. We went when it was a little chilly last year and it was still busy on the beach. We liked it so much we brought a whole gallon home with us to Arizona. They have been opened for 50 years and make the chili homemade
