Family 1st trip to Disneyland LA

Hello Everyone. My family will be going to Disneyland @ the end of the December this year. This will be the chitlin's 1st time ever, as well as a much overdue vacation for the whole family. We plan to visit Disneyland for 3 days. My family of 5 (DH and I, 10, 6, and 4yr old) and my inlaws (MIL, FIL, SIL, and BIL in a wheelchair). Since I have not been there since I was a child, I have no clue of what to expect. I want to do and see as much as possible without overwhelming everyone.We currently do not have a set budget for the park, but I can't see myself spending more than $500? That amount already seems excessive for me...unless I have to? I'm way too excited, I just don't know where to begin once there!
Any type of advice , from food, souveniers, shows to websites....anything, will be helpful and appreciated.

What are you planning to include for $500???? because 3 day park hopper tickets are $200 for children and $215.00 for adults.
