    Default Okoboji IA?

Hello! My family is going to Okoboji, IA this summer. Anyone else been there or know much about the area? Looking for tips on fun things to do (have small children), good places to eat, best deals, etc... Thanks!

there is a place called Arnold's park. It's a small amusement park w/ rides. Not sure where you are staying up there, but if you need beach access, there is a public beach area up in the northwest corner of the lake. there are several nice shops & places to eat in the area too.

My husband and I lived 45 minutes east of there for two years while we attended college. I agree with to1drland to check out Arnolds Park, there's a lot of fun activities there

Be sure to try and find some sort of information guide or newspaper when you get there, there are a lot of free music events that take place in the evenings...we attended a country music singoff, it was a karaoke type deal, and it was a lot of fun. We also attended a free Christian concert, I don't remember anymore who the band was though.
