vacation in marco island, naples and orlando

besides the big theme parks, what are the things we MUSt DO. We are going to the zoo in orlando because we have free tickets. My kids are 18yrs old, so not focusing on the big theme parks as much. any advice???

The Naples zoo is fabulous. Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

There is the Everglades Wonder Gardens, in Bonita springs which isn't far at all. They have lots of rescued animals, native to Florida. The biggest Gator I've ever seen, I thought it was fake! It's not "Orlando", it's old Florida style, but fun. I think they are trying to sell the property, but they may still be open.

Depending on when you go, there is the spring training home of the Boston Red Sox and the Minnesota Twins in Fort Myers.

The Naples Beach pier is great, I was particularly fond of Lovers Key state park in Bonita Springs, when we lived in Fort Myers.

You could try and make it over to Sanibel and Captiva Islands

And of course International drive in Orlando has LOADS of stuff to do.

Oh, and for 18 year olds', Universal studios is the way to go. Two theme parks and nightlife as well.
